| AlternateProductions chapter 32 . 3/9
Great chapter. Amazing story. I've enjoyed reading this story so far. It's great. I can't wait to see how you bring the team back together and prepare for the final assault on Earth. I think it'll be the finale we always wanted from Mass Effect.
| Aronim chapter 32 . 3/6
Yeeeeees, update. This fic always reminds me why I still read fanfic, this is soooo awesome.
And I like Carmichael, he's awesome in an "out of his league, but learning"-way. And it's always fun to see a ground view of the legends.
Again, I would like to say that I love how you have split up the Normandy crew. It just makes so much sense to at least sometimes spread out the pool of ability on that ship that way, particularly a management and planning talent like Miranda, who can seems underused if she just runs around after Shepard all the time.
A few nitpicks, there were a few more that I didn't copy. Damn the new "can't copy paste" setup:
"The burst of fire perfectly was timed perfectly" Think you should lose the first "perfectly.
"with sufficient force to severe..." It should be "sever", not "severe". And maybe use the simpler "enough".
"opened her omni-tool and turned to the nearby omni-tool." Did you mean "console" instead of the second "omni-tool"?
"and I am try to save the lives" Think you meant "trying". The sentence as it is looks like it was the victim of a bad translation error.
Great chapter as always. Kinda want Carmichael to bond with Steve now, two badass pilots.

| Janizary chapter 32 . 3/5
Nice to have you back. Like what you did with Carmichael in this chapter. Added a new flavor to seeing the pros go about their work.

amazing as always!

No... this... this can't happen...
| darkerego chapter 32 . 3/3
Excellent chapters. Carmichael is a very good character!
| Phygmalion chapter 32 . 3/2
Wow. That was an amazing chapter. I absolutely LOVE how you use the everyman Carmichael to provide a fresh perspective on what Shepard and his crew do routinely, as well as a reflection of the reputation that they have built over the years. He's basically Samwise Gamgee in ME armor. :) A tough choice, but the right one. Not ideal, but war never is.
Great job, and looking forward to the next chapter!

Another great chapter. I'm a huge fan of your trilogy; collectively, they are my favorite thing about Mass Effect fanfiction. I got to the party rather late, and didn't see the point in reviewing each chapter individually, so I hope this is enough to convey my thoughts.
I love the characterization of Shep's crew, past and present. It takes a lot of talent to write original dialogue staying true to character, without just haphazardly pasting direct quotes everywhere, and you write it well. The throwbacks and references are all nice, and appreciated, without overstepping your new plot line.
I'm also a big fan of your take on Shepard. My own playthroughs of the Mass Effect series went a lot like that, at least in my head; I mean to say I would start with an infiltrator in the first, change class or add a biotic loyalty power in the second, tweak again in the third, using Cerberus resurrection and downtime to study respectively as reasons. It was great to see an in game progression like that paced slowly and naturally. It really helped connect me to the story even more.
Winding up, I like this chapter's voyage into Carmichael's view. It's an interesting chance to see the heroes of the series as the heroes and legends we all love them for being, without needing to personalize everything to make it more realistic. Doing so anyway at the end was a nice bonus, the icing on the cake, as it were.
Please, keep it up.

So Carmichael had to make Shepard's decision. Hope he make Petrosky pay hard! Hope to see an update soon because its the end of the Omega arc next!
| A Darker Path chapter 32 . 3/2
Nice to see your standards aren't slipping my friend. I'm surprised and impressed with the fresh perspective, looking at the legends through the eyes of an outsider. Only a few spelling and tense issues that I noticed, all minor and easily corrected. So all in all, well done once again and keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what Shepard and the rest of the gang have been up to in the meanwhile.
| Cake Of Spades chapter 32 . 3/2
MORE CARMICHAEL POV! He is so well written and I think he is now my favorite character.
I'm starting to think the Normandy needs another crew member...

Fantastic Job. I really enjoy the length of each chapter, and how there is so much reread value in your work. Even though the delay between chapters is long, it shows that you are really putting a lot of work into your work. I enjoyed the new prospective as well as the action scenes. Again, great job. Keep up the good work.
| Mandalore the freedom chapter 32 . 3/2
Huh looks like the kid slowly finding his place with the Normandy team. Bet after the war his gonna have some interesting stories to tell if he makes it out alive. Hmmmm that's the thing about Aria, you always need to watch your back with her around. She's kind of like a Black Window if you would.
As always, Javik being a jackass, kind if interesting him and James working together, wonder how that go. Anyway nice work, good luck till next time

Huh, very interesting alternation but I must admit I enjoying the conversation and interaction in this chapter the most :) Very good job
