That was simply amazing! I love the insight into the Holmes boy's child hood (because I think we all know that something was so very not good there), and I love love love your Mycroft. I do see him as the very protective brother, but one who has to balance the safety of a nation with the safety of his brother. That he assigns so much time energy and resources shows that he cares deeply, just in his own special way. Also the constant changing of nannies and housekeepers would explain Sherlock's inability to form healthy long-lasting attachments in his adult life.

anyway, I love love love it! Is this only going to show what happens behind the scenes of aired episodes, or will it continue after Reichenbach (I watched it for the first time yesterday...my heart hurts)
