Wowza. This is freakin amazing, I'm facinated by the way you're going with Danny's depression, grief and anger at Amity. I also find Amity's reaction interesting. I personally wouldn't be a fan of the Fentons if I livedin Amity only because I know that if a loved one's ghost came back, they'd probably try and shoot them. Still, the humans most well reputed to deal with the hostile ghosts going down is a ground shaking kind of event that i can appreciate as horrifying for everyone.

Good job accentuating his guilt with valerie. I want to punch the GIW in the face, though I've always wanted to do that. They were so fucking insensitive here, stars. I'll be honest with you, I can't see Jazz, Sam and Tucker failing to come back as ghosts, since Jazz still needs to tell Danny what she knows and that there's a part of his faliy that knows everything and loves him all the same, and Tucker and Sam would refuse to leave Danny alone to wallow in all this pain without them. I understand it's your story, just a thought that came to mind about how weird it is to me that none of them came back even in the canon episode (then again Elmer is an idiot so missing potentiall like this is par for the course with him).

Atom and Canary coming for an interview but also being like genuinely sympathetic is great, Danny being knowledgable about ghosts is the best fanon thing ever, and I find your breakdown of the basics to be interesting! Danny's talk with Vlad and begging him to train him is... an interesting and gut wrenching scene. You've done an amazing job with this chapter!

This part was really great, it might be a little difficult to match that with the parts where Danny is with the Young Justice.

When this were starting to go south and Danny was planning on going to the UN I thought that the UN would reject his plea and was hoping that Danny would say something along the lines of " you better hope you don't die with unfinished business, because if you become a ghost the GiW will hunt you down. "

I'm thinking that Wonder Woman and AuquaMan would try and help Danny if they heard him trying one last time to stop the war. And maybe Hakwgirl.

well they both have part of their obsessions fixed with their girl. Danny is technically her father but with Vlad being there and more willing to actually treat her right , as the other person who would count as her father, Danny can have a more simpler relationship with her as her big brother. a very protective big brother. possibly rivaling Zatara in over protectiveness.
