I love how well you've captured Law's character.
Flevance and his time with Doflamingo left him clearly warped. Your fic shows his enormous sadism and brutality, his numbness towards the suffering of others, as well as his unforgiving nature towards his enemies.
However, Cora San's sacrifice was not in vain, for it forced him to reconsider his nihilistic and misanthropic attitude towards the world and life.
He had assumed the world was a rotten place, full of awful, selfish people or powerless victims at best.
That Cora saved him broke his cosmovision, because suddenly he met someone who did a disinterested altruistic act for him.
And indeed that changed him, and it shows in his unconditional love for his crew, as well as his stance of not harming defenseless civilians, as well as his occasional acts of altruism towards people in need, something that old Law would never have considered.
While darkness and hatred have not left his heart, he has learned to control it and restricts his cruelty to evil people, whose deaths make the world a better place, rather than taking the path of resentment that Doflamingo took and creating even more. bitterness and suffering in the world.
