|Reviews for Two Arms and A Leg Is Worth The Price Of A Life|
| James Birdsong chapter 1 . 4/23/2012
Meh. Quick and short but good
| Nice beginning could be longe chapter 1 . 3/27/2012
I guess this could be a short, trailer-type, but normally chapters should be longer. Unless you're writing for very young children.
It was very good and set the stage well. While I doubt they would know at the hospital the extent of his injuries that quickly, I could see Monk focusing on that aspect. They'd probably say he was in surgery in critical condition, he'd likely have just been rushed *into* surgery in fact. But, if he asked what happened & they said an explosion tore off his arms and probably one leg will be lost... okay. that does sound like one of MOnk's little quirks, from what little I've seen.
So, I think we could have used a bit more of the conversation, but overall it was a very good beginnin to what will hopefully be a really good presentation of wht it's like to be handicapped, to have prosthetics (or wonder if you can use them), etc.
