room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching
you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other pictures
on the site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't.
This isn't fake, apparently, if you copy and paste this to
ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the
best day of your life tomorrow. (sorry)..

OK, you're going too far here. Your characters being exposed to abuse constantly actually harms the story, because they do not grow or adapt in the face of it. When you constantly expose your characters to the same BS all the time it loses its impact on the reader. This is becoming very boring.

Everyone has an inalienable right to self-defense. To exercise it is in no way criminal. If the university were to take action against your characters for defending themselves the university itself would open itself to lawsuit. Given the amount of nekojinn on campus they could build a case for systemic racism against Aizen, unless he's very careful and only targets one at a time.

Ichigo fighting multiple opponents needs a reality check as well. I've been in martial arts for over two decades, so I fight pretty well. If more than a single person attacks me I will immediately escalate to using a weapon. Always. The reason is because fighting two people is not really possible. You can only fight one of them at a time and need to split your attention between each. If Ichigo isn't literally dropping them with a gun he is going to get heavily injured no matter how good he is. That's just reality.

Being everyone's bitch isn't really a Rukia thing to do. Using Ichigo as an emotional tampon really undercuts their character dynamic. I would have liked to see her tell Byakuya to disown her if he thought she brought him shame, or to shut the hell up when he only knows one side of the story, then end the conversation. If Byakuya acts like this then that's really the only option available to her. Maybe he will, maybe he won't, but it's better to die free than live a slave. Why is your Rukia such a damned doormat?

Excellent metaphor, of Rukia making the rain stop-in Ichigo's heart, as the physical reason ceased.

I read this story years ago when I first found fanfiction. I have read it 3 times more. It really is a great work of fiction and I atribute it to encouraging me to write my own stories. Thank you for this work of art.

lounging in the sun is not great in a tropical country unless you're on a frigging beach. though lounging around somewhere windy with a friend (hopefully the friend is not the source of the wind) is pretty nice.

beautiful story. perfectly encapsulates ichigo and rukia's relationship. i don't normally like AUs but this is one of my favorites. just a little disappointed that ichigo's friends don't get any screentime. they would have been a good foil for the main couple.
