I really loved this chapter.

"We're tied to each other now, no matter what. Whatever we do, we're in this together. Every decision I ever make from now on, I take you into account. And I hope you feel the same..." That was soo cute. :D I love that they are so truly committed.

"If...if they ever change the law to say we can get married legally...I swear, there won't be no need to think about it. I'd do it in a heartbeat."

Jack smiled against his chest. "I would too. If it changes and you wanna propose to me, I promise I'll accept. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you."

This chapter is not exactly the veil that slips over the dream. This was more a compilation of the opening chapter in the book, and the telephone booth scene in the movie. Poor Ennis is so worried about something happening to Jack it is giving him nightmares.. poor baby. I always figured that was the OS Ennis's reasoning behind them never getting together. He was worried that if they tried to live together, like the tough ole birds, Rich and Earl did, people would hurt Jack. Jack was always more open and likely to be noticed. He was frustrated that Jack took too many chances.

Poor Ennis. Poor Jack, too. I hate homophobic people. It's so not fair. Hopefully they'll be fine. )

Well that was a carefree happy little trip. Sounded wonderful. I would have loved to be there also. They found a place, where they felt like they belonged. Both to each other and the community. I think it would be great to live in such a beautiful accepting and lovely place myself. They sure are horn dogs for each other. Its a wonder they can both walk straight, without a limp..lol...Where is Lureen? I felt a bit of forshadowing there. Or was it just me? Thanks for another update. Janice
