Maybe I've seen Love and Other Drugs to many times but part of that "I love you" scene reminded me of that movie. Other than that I'm happy he finally said "I love you" and overall a very well written chapter.

Loads of fuckin and lots of duckin. Ennis just can't get it out in the open. He will eventually I am sure. The thing is he says it in different ways. But he is being as honest and loving as he has the courage to be. I, do, Jack. I do, too. It means the same thing. Some people have a harder time saying those three words. Usually it is from lack of use. I could never say them, even before I was married. It took a long long time, for me to say them. But little by little. I said it more and more. Eventually it became one of my most used phrases. For my family. I still don't say it often to others. I believe it is because as I was growing up, no one ever said it to me. Simple I know. This was a both relaxed and very sexy chapter. They are so relaxed when they are together. They are so uptight when they are in public. They are so obsessed, they are having trouble concentrating in class. They both love each other, but Ennis afraid, not of the love, but of other people and their opinions. I think the times that you have them alone seem to really tell the story. It is inside their heads and hearts both,

with the fears being that something is going to come along and terrorize them, or prevent them from having this relationship. Thanks for your chapter. I am really enjoying it. Janice
