You know, i never really stopped to think about the fact that Urahara did actually kill Ichigo during his training. Just because he successfully became a shinigami again doesn't change the fact that he's sorta dead...

Man, the amount of attitude coming from Zangetsu is unreal. I love it.

I'm so happy you kept in the part about Tessai laying on top of Ichigo. That was one of the funniest parts of the entire series

I really liked the bit about what genres he likes. It would have been cool if you did a part about what series' he enjoys.

The part I love the most about this chapter is how Ichigo notices that Byakuya's threat to cut off his arm was kinda stupid. Sure, it sounds menacing but he's already dying so who cares?

Goddamn. You are ridiculously good at describing both emotions and abstract powers. Seriously, I've only seen a handful of authors on this site that can do it as well as you do.

You did a great job of describing Ichigo's strategy for fighting the menos. That was really the first time In the series where Ichigo just acted like a complete dumbass but you made his plan sound reasonable.

This chapter was pretty funny. The fight at the old hospital was probably the funniest part of the first arc and you captured it really well. I also like how you kept the humor intact while keeping it from going over the top. While the exaggerated antics work well in the manga, it wouldn't have carried over into text form very well.

I'm still not entirely sure how Ichigo used his reiatsu wall to keep the hollow from completely disappearing though. Add physics of the dead to the growing list of things Kubo never explained too well.

Wow...this was... This is amazing. I love how realistically you have made this. At first, I was a little skeptical about the... what's it called? The way you're telling the story from Ichigo's perspective. I've read many stories like that, but it's hard to pull of. I must say, you've done just that; perfectly! I'm looking forward to read the next chapter! You are a really brilliant writer. I love all the... damn it, I can't remember that word either! I blame the late hour. Anyway, I like the likenesses? you make. Like how the thug's arms swung faintly reminding him of a gorilla.
I also find myself fascinated by the slightly darker past you given Ichigo, but truth be told, it's isn't impossible. I'm eager to see how you write out the rest!

hmmm don't know how I feel about you turning Ichigo into an actual thug for a bit, when he was originally a kid that was actually a good citizen who people thought was a thug because of his scowl and his hair color which seems unnatural... you changed him from a people thinks he was a bad kid to really being a bad kid; plus the fact that the comic attacks from his dad (which shouldn't be taken seriously, it's one of those 'anime things'), but I guess you did change somethings...

but over all this was a great story, it was interesting looking through what could have been Ichigo's brain
