 Stuporman chapter 7 . 7/21/2013 Oh man. This chapter. It's just so sad. Ichigo's recollection of his mom's death was heartbreaking. I actually teared up a little. I like that Ichigo believes that his mom was hit by a car. I don't think they actually explained what Ichigo thought killed her in the manga. He just wakes up and she's dead but nobody ever questions how it happened. A car accident serves as a perfect explanation. |

| Stuporman chapter 6 . 6/7/2013 I loved Ichigo's reaction to Kon's pervy actions while he possessed his body. It was priceless. Kon was always a character that fell short of what he could have been. When he was first introduced, we learned that he had this depressing backstory that justifiably made him a pacifist. It was pretty interesting. Then Kubo decided to discard that part of his personality immediately and focus on his more annoying characteristics for a few volumes before practically making him irrelevant for the rest of Bleach's continuity. You kind of have to wonder what the point was of introducing him in the first place. By the way, how was Kon making snarky comments from his pill? I thought he couldn't talk in pill form. |
| Stuporman chapter 5 . 6/5/2013 1. The best part of this entire chapter was how you decided to tackle the more ambiguous details about Soul Society. For an intricate world that he created, Kubo sure sucks at explaining just how the hell Soul Society works. If we didn't have the animes omakes, we would have virtually nothing to go on. I loved the bit about how candy is a sign of power. Suddenly Byakuya's weird cookies make sense. 2. Jeez, that little flashback of Ichigo's was some heavy stuff. I almost forgot how brutal he became in his fight with Shrieker. You sure did a good job of turning up the 'holy shit' feeling of when he rips out the Hollow's tongue as opposed to the manga. I also like how you had him realize that he kinda stepped over the line when he sees the gate. 3. Something I noticed: When the fight starts, Ichigo cuts off one of Shrieker's arms. But when Shrieker tries to escape at the end, your writing implies that he uses both wings to fly, even though one should be missing. |
