|Reviews for James Foral's Guide to Surviving Necromorphs|
| Dan chapter 1 . 9/28/2013
Unfortunately this need a revision as the release of DS2. and DS3 means they can in fact survive in cold harsh weather, harsher than most earth weather outside of the Antartica, So to add to that aswell they also introduced some newer mechanics

I'm back boss, time to criticize you a little bit, don't worry it won't be too bad. Captain America, if you like WWII then watch Saving Private Ryan. Oh yeah I AM Legend... SUUUUUXXXX. Now 'brony' I'll see you in hell(or school) which ever comes first.

| Tayta Malikai chapter 3 . 6/11/2012
This was quite an entertaining read, and I'm finding James Foral's perspectives on the Necromorph problem very interesting. I like the setting you've been building up, especially the very plausible presence of EarthGov soldiers (who exist without being overblown in any way), to the point where I could definitely see this as the setting of Dead Space 3 (which, I suppose, is the point). Great work, I'm not sure how you'll be able to add to it, but I'll look forward to it all the same!
| marticuss chapter 1 . 6/2/2012
one thing i'd change is the whole lone wolf thing, not saying massive groups but maby a group of bout for or so so you can take shift at watch as well as carry more shit
| Cutter chapter 3 . 6/1/2012
I do believe that the Piece I have just read is actually quite enjoyable. It allows the reader to see in a new perspective, however it seems to (strangely) draw from common knowledge of the current DeadSpace game serious. I find this to be more than okay however, as where else is one to obtain such knowledge? I also enjoy the authors creativity with the little white balls of skin necromorphs. The environment however, is an entirely different factor. A necromorphs outbreak in London, would certainly be far mor than Hell. When reading this Survival Guide series, I could not help but picture the proganonist back on an environment similar to the ishumara. But like I said before, different perspective. Overall, great series and I hope you continue. ( although quite honestly I cannot see much else that you have not covered) so... Goodluck!
| Rebi the Rambler chapter 3 . 5/26/2012
This is a fun story, and I can see it actually being in a Dead Space game, the only problem I have is in the poisonous gas part, he says it kills necromorphs. But necromorphs are completely dead and don't breathe at all, that's why they go into vacuums just fine in the games.
The next chapter on weapons should be interesting though, chainsaw good?
| Raidster chapter 3 . 5/24/2012
An excellent guide, that I could totally see in a future Dead Space installment. Keep up the good work.

omg thank you this is very informative thank you author
| Jan Lee chapter 2 . 5/3/2012
This chapter proved to be interesting as well. I like that he gave advice first on Necromorphs, then on humans. It was a good way of organizing the information. Again, the narrative voice is smooth (and funneh), which made the story very easy to read.
One point of concern, RE: the poisonous gas. The first description of the gas says that if the reader smells something like rotten eggs, run the other way. But later in the entry, the gas does not have smell to it. Which is it?
You've done a good job, and I look forward to what you have in store next. )
| Jan Lee chapter 1 . 5/3/2012
Very interesting take on the Dead Space verse. I think the character has the right idea about writing a guide for other survivors to follow. He's got a smooth narrative voice and some good points. Keep it up! I'd like to see more. )
| You're evil chapter 1 . 4/3/2012
I understand some evil is necessary to survive, but what youre suggesting is wayyy extreme, for one, I won't really shoot a human unless he tries to kill me, the worst out come is i knock him out and leave the mad sod, people aren't a liability, they're more of current allies, as long they don't show signs of mental breakdown, theres no need for violence, besides, the only enemy is oneself, no point killing zombies if youre wack as a loon. Even Isaac gets a companion...
