I loved the whole thing, every chapter! It felt natural and honest, and the story was very satisfying! The Danny/Steve friendship was as real as it is, and so you get 5 golden Danny 5-0 badges. Earned every single one of them! I'm putting you down as one of my favorite authors! And this story is a keeper!

That was perfect. From the conversation in the car, Danny's rants, to the chase down the warf and then Danny saw Grace... Grace happily running into the arms of Stan. In that moment Danny felt his heart rip out, his world closing in on him. The facade that he had held in place after the birth of a son that should have been his (and now we know is his son), the family he should have had, was too much for him. It was like the life had been sucked out of him, and with it went his judgment and sanity. At that point, he just said "fu # it", because nothing seemed to matter any more. He was tired of trying.

Loved the Steve rant and later the moment on the beach. Steve watching Danny, understanding what he was going through and being there for him. Nicely done!

Wow, I just found this story and I am blown away by the first chapter. It is a masterpiece and I am so intrigued as to what Danny was thinking when the gun was being held to his head. It is a disconcerting image you have painted and I can't wait to read the next chapter.

This Fanfiction is one of the best ones I have read! It was like watching a movie... Action packed, emotion packed, humour packed... everything packed into one beautifully written story. Each and every line was just superb... Danny's and Steve's inner voice was really awesome and God, an epic storyline! (your brain is not from earth ;) ). The way the story shaped, from Danny's breakdown, the case, the action in the island and recovery along with cute bromance was just too good. (I know it's a long review but I can't get the story out of my head). Your a fantastic writer and my wishes are that you write stories of movies, TV series, novels (you have all the talent for that). Enjoyed reading it. :)
