|Reviews for Nietzsche Can Wait|
| hearthandhomeauthor chapter 1 . 1/16
Very nice piece! I think you captured Tim very well in this piece. I had to smile each time he was interrupted. I know the feeling too well. But I also was smiling when he realized his friends had planned a party for them. I know I would have been a part of that committee for sure! I'm glad he decided to go the party though. His friends really do appreciate him!

Great story that strengthens the idea of the crew being a family and supporting each other. Thanks for sharing.

I could have sworn that I'd reviewed this one. I really thought that I did. But apparently not... and now that's going to bug me because I honestly could have *sworn* that I had... ah, well.
It's really cool to see a Tim centric fic from you! As much as I love me some Nathan/Kristin, it's always good to shake it up a bit every now and again. I'll bet that Vici absolutely loved this one. It made me "aww" to see that he was a little disappointed that nobody knew it was his birthday; sounds like something I would do. I hate flounting my birthday, but I'm still a little sad when nobody remembers... I digress.
D'aww, his choice of present made me giggle, but it's just so him! I can completely see him wanting to read it for myself. A perfect birthday present for our favorite translator!
I think that this review might just be a chorus of "awwww". I love that Lucas started spreading it about that it was Tim's birthday. It's soo perfect, especially with Tim's reaction!
Ben has balloons! This just keeps getting cuter as we go on! I can imagine Tim's face when he walks in... bahahahaha.
I love how Kristin is able to convince him to go. The surprise party was absolutely adorable. Ben even had a birthday cake and streamers and balloons! We go back to the ol' "the supply officer is the glue that holds the boat together." I loved that you had Kristin waiting for him outside the room . Of course he'd change his mind! Too cute!
This was just so cute, my love! I really loved this one and I'm almost glad that I hadn't already read it. Such a wonderful treat for my morning!

I really liked this, despite not knowing a thing about the show. The character of Tim is very easily defined and understandable; a somewhat awkward scholar/genius type person who has a good heart and speaks in a very high vocabulary by default. I like how accessible he was. The other characters are well defined as is the setting. You did a very fine job.

Such a sweet little one-shot here! Glad to see Tim actually enjoy his birthday; after all, Nietzsche will always be there for him to read, but his friends will only show him some gratitude on his one special day! No grammar mistakes found here, so great job with proofreading! Even a story written five months ago is still greatly written, and you've improved over time with your other stories! Once again, I loved this little one-shot and I'm guessing that your friend loved this as well! :)

I thought this was a great story and really in-character! I like Tim!
So, yeah, I can see this happening on seaQuest and...yeah, great story!
| Lynnp chapter 1 . 4/18/2012
Ah bless, that was lovely!

It's good to read a Tim based story (now should that have a hyphen?).

Thank you for the lovely birthday gift. Can't go wrong with a Tim O'Neill story. I'll bet it's the best present I get.
| MelonLady chapter 1 . 4/11/2012
Ahhh! What a wonderful and unique birthday present :)
I think it worked really well as I could see Tim in my mind getting huffy about all the interruptions but I bet he was touched by party in the end.
Hopefully it'll inspire CF Vici to upload the next instalment of Not on my Watch - hint hint!
