AHHH I NEED THE NEXT CHAPTER THIS STORY IS SO GOOD!

This has been an exciting and nerve wracking ride, an elaborate plotline with stunning attention to detail and an atmosphere oozing sheer tension and mystery in every chapter!

I feel like every forced capture and cryosleep of Chell marks the beginning of a new Portal installment - evey time meeting new characters to face off GLaDOS in different but still fatally grueling ways. As such, the incredible and nail-biting "Portal 3" act (in my mind) draws to a close and a supposed "Portal 4" act begins.

With GLaDOS reflecting on extensive (and beautifully world-building!) flashbacks of Caroline's life, Wheatley getting used to a totally alien (brilliant way of writing such an experience!) flesh-and-blood body, Orion and Carrie unaccounted for (very interesting OC's!), Orange and Blue subverting their bosses' orders (cool insights into their cooperative programming!), and Chell recovering from another harrowing escape attempt (wonderfully evocative thought processes and body language!), this story has more than a few plot threads woven together into a truly extravagant narrative!

Thanks so much for writing such a great story - your hard work really shows and keep up the fantastic job. You ROCK! :)

It took me a while, what with work and other goings on, but I finally read this WONDERFUL story up to its current chapter, and I am loving it. It makes me feel even more petty for snubbing it for smut in the past. (Though not going to lie - still love the smut.)

I always have appreciated your talent for description and pacing. In particular, your voice for the mute Chell has remained one of my favorite things about your stories, just as impressive as your capture of Wheatley and GLaDOS' character. Reading Target Acquired was really like playing a continuation of the game, with all the fun of new corners to explore, history to discover, etc. I love the exploration of friendship between Chell/Wheatley and Orange/Blue as well.

I had many favorite parts, but perhaps the moment that touched me the most was when Chell discovered sunlight.

Eagerly awaiting the next installment! Now I have resisted the newest chapter of Mechanophilia long enough...

I think it bothers her more than she's admitting here, that she felt love once and she knows she'll never feel it again. That's a terribly sad thought.

Interesting that GLaDOS thinks of herself as the Central Core AND capitalises personal pronouns. I like that but by the time it occurred to me to do so it was far too late.
