I love this opening ;n;. It's far enough back in the last moments of the game that you can easily set up the alternate ending and plot for the story. It's amazing how one slight change in the boss battle can trigger such a different story. I can tell you've gone through and revised this chapter a bunch of times. When I read it over livestream that one night, it flowed so well.

Please, please continuing this story. It's purely amazing!

Humanizing Wheatley. Hmmm. Can't say I saw that coming, but nice going nonetheless. There really isn't much Wheatley can do as a core, and so much you can explore now that he's adjusting to the body. Will be become more human, mentally, in the process?

So, is Wheatley in a fully organic human body or an android body?

You wrote the core transfer hallucination wonderfully. It felt painful. And then how Wheatley gave in to the mainframe was excellent. And I love GLaDOS's last line. A perfect way to end the chapter! I can't wait to see more.

I'm glad they're going to stay just friends. While I love a good romance, I don't think it's necessary, and it's often too forced.

I absolutely love what you've done here. Human!Wheatley is completely adorable, and I'm seriously excited to see how you'll be writing him. Especially since he probably has no idea how to function as a human. At all. Which will be seriously endearing. I can't wait for the next chapter!

as it dawned on me that he was human, i actually shouted "WHAT" pretty loudly. and i'm still thinking it. what.

i'm interested to see how this friendship thing will go. i guess most shippers would be frustrated, but really i just want to see what happens next, as this story does seem to be largely about the growth of a stable, platonic, and hopefully healthy friendship.

But all that aside, wow, this was a fantastic chapter. :D I was so happy to see you had updated! And I think your approach to human Wheatley is actually cool. He's not an android and he's not completely human, either. A part of him was just integrated into a human body. Bloody fantastic. I can't wait to see where you go with that :D

I am so glad that you put the hallucination scene in italics-every few paragraphs or so I had to remind myself that it wasn't what was actually happening. I was getting concerned there for a moment or two. I did like the nightmarish feel of it all, though. The bit about his handles was clever too-I can't believe I never noticed that they disappear when he's in the chassis.

I have to say that Wheatley's transition into a human body caught me off guard. I've read plenty of awesome fics and plenty of not-so-awesome fics that do this, but after reading your a/n I'm a lot more reassured. Since it's been planned from the beginning, and you're using it for plot/character development rather than as an excuse to ship those two, I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

An interesting piece of work. I mean, interesting enough for me to read it twice. And yes, resundant chapter is redundant, despite P-Body's point of view being interesting.

And can't help but notice some of the errors. I mean, *come on,* I thought you have enough of a *common* sense to see the difference between the two. It's not that hard, you know.
