| SilverSentinal21 chapter 1 . 4/21/2012 I saw this and I got all excited, then I saw that Deeks was going to get some massive waves and got REALLY EXCITED, then you hurt him and it was like "what! no! can't he enjoy just this one thing before he gets hurt?" I've been wishing and wishing for more stories with either Deeks or Eric enjoying the waves, and this felt like a cruel tease for some reason... I'm still really excited for a look into Hetty's collections, but I can't help but be exceedingly disappointed that you cheated Deeks out of a spactacular day of surfing, then made it go viral on YouTube, it's literally adding insult to injury! It's a mark of an excellent writer to be able to pull a reader in emotionally with a story, ESPECIALLY in the FIRST chapter... But I don't see how anyone can torture a character over and over again, doesn't it get exhausting? Deeks, is like the Trip Tucker (Star Trek Enterprise) of NCIS:LA people choose him to suffer the most in fanfic. |
