Wow this is soooo amazing and such fun. It's weird yet brilliant to read about your wonderful knights before they became a tight bunch of teasing and happiness and joyous friendship. Though it's rather saddening to read how Aldwin thinks of Merlin because I know in the series he and Merlin are good friends as Merlin is with all the knights, but it's cool and different and of course realistic. It's not like Aldwin jsut became that good a friend of Merlin out of nowhere, so I'm really curious where this is going.

Yay and you gave Merlin a nice spotlight by saving Arthur and I happen to suspect Merlin had something to do with his legs being lucky for nto being crushed by the tree.

Oh and the rhyming was brilliant and super funny, especially because Arthur was telling him to shut up and he blatantly continued. I thought only Merlin went against Arthur on purpose like that so it's fun to find someone else who can't help himself and act normal around the prince.

Winston is really suspicious and I'm super worried what he'll do to Merlin but also super curious what the other knights will do. It's been a while since I read your series and I read a lot of other stories and fandoms, but was Winston that knight that cared so strongly about his hair? If it is him, wow no idea he was that hostile with the others. If it isn't him, then wow you made one heck of a bitchy knight.

Anyway, loving this already, can hardly wait for the next chapter. Oh poor Merlin, what will happen to you now?

Oh and nice idea of Aldwin crushing on Morgana. Poor lad, being teased about it.

ooooh going on alert!

Oh this story sounds fun so far. I like your characters, especially Gerrick. The perspective of the story is a nice change, and yet Merlin and Arthur still shine through, I love Merlin's little quirks sprouting here and there so naturally in the story. Usually when story's are from another perspective, it's some deep thoughtful analysis of some main character (usually merlin) but this one shows a more 'normal' perspective if that makes sense. I hope the next chapter comes out soon. Now for the drama XD

I liked the beginning- the knights before they were nice. Except Gerrick. Gerrick doesn't change. But Aldwin's obviously less mature and Eadric doesn't know who his friends are yet.
