![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sorry I didn't review these two stories before; I've reviewed their sequel, but realized that I didn't give you any feedback for these. 98 Octane and Absinthe were just beautiful; calm and full of angst at the same time. The change in Spike is portrayed wonderfully and Buffy and Spike's soft manner to each other is just perfect in betraying their uncertainties that suface in The Last Slow Hours of Morning. Damn fine story. -Salla |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a very interesting story. I like how we don't really know what's been going on, why they're their, how they got there and so on. We can guess little bits, you tell us a few here and there, but, mostly, it's all a big mystery. It gives the reader a sense of being lost and general confusion (or is that just because I'm falling down tired? nah, doubt it...) that is probably just what the characters feel like. Great story. |
![]() ![]() Ack. Too, too perfect. Just enough angst, just enough snark, just enough irritation, just enough truth, just enough love. A sublime mix, all the more painful because *we'll never get anything even remotely like it on the show.* Auggh. But thank you so much for writing it anyway. And if you think of anything else to write along these lines, I'll be waiting with bait on my breath to read it. |
![]() ![]() Lovely, please continue. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I enjoyed this chapter as much as I did the first. I especially love the way that you let souled-Spike keep his edge. Well done! |
![]() ![]() ![]() More please! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh man, Alanna. Wow. Again, I ask you, can kidnap the writers and write next season? *eg* Just kidding...or am I? Anyway, for some reason I never saw this until today, and both of these vignettes are gorgeous. So beautiful and almost bittersweet. I hope you continue! |
![]() ![]() I liked it. |
![]() ![]() God, this drives me nuts. This little vignette is so perfect, so honest, so logical, so unsentimentally romantic that I know we'll *never* get anything even remotely like it from ME next year. The fact that you've written it proves it can be done, and done beautifully - but it will never happen on the show. Still, it was very nice to read, in all its perforce AU glory. Thanks. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Delightful. You just have to be a Southerner. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it. tasty. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is wonderful. It reads like poetry! (To me...that's a good) Great job :) |
