I ADORE Prisoner of Love. I used to read it all the time in the mid 2000's before other things distracted me. Recently I've felt the desire to return to my first love, Labyrinth fanfics, but am devistated to find many of my favourites are now gone!

Beautifully written. Poor Sarah! I'm glad Jareth took revenge for her. I liked the darkness and angst of your story, it appears its uncompleted, and looks like it won't be. I hope it will, but whichever the case I really enjoyed reading this story.

Is this a one-shot? It feels like it could be, but the story isn't listed as complete, or at least that's not how it shows. If it's meant to eventually be more, I'd look forward to reading it - if its a one-shot then I have to say its a really good one!

i totally would have called for the Goblin King. I'm sorry, but when they messed with the book, that where the line is drawn. actually, i'm impressed by Sarah not fighting back. I would have broken that girl's nose, no doubt.

"Life on other worlds" made me think of Life on Mars Bowie. It was kinda cool :D Dunno if you did it intetionally or not, but it was cool :D

I always think that bullying is a touchy subject to write about for some people. I myself has the amazing good fortune. I was never bullied. Teased occasionally as a young child, but never bullied, however, my friend was and it was awful to watch. So in a way, this story could affect everyone. They'd be able to associate their own memories with Sarah's torture or even see her as a friend going through the same thing that their friend once did.

And Labyrinth is the perfect place to write a story like this as Sarah IS different and she didn't seem to mention any friends in the movie.

I'll be honest and say that at first, it seemed very un-Sarah for her to never retaliate, but after a while of thinking about it, I realized that it is VERY Sarah. Of course she has a fiery side but where this kind of bullying is concerned, it seems as if you've nailed her reactions.

The sad thing is that a the character of Sarah deserves a friend in her own world but as the saying goes "Kids can be cruel" and "girls are bitches" XD. WOW, would you look at all that I've written? It's a fanfiction, not a retelling of REAL LIFE events, LB. Anyhoo, Ima keep reviewing.

Oh this was quite dark and interesting indeed!

I had a girl that used to bully me and encouraged her friends to do the same, so it a hit a little close to home for me but I did still find this really superb for a one-shot. And an emotional response is always good.
