HAPPY 5 YEARS ANNIVERSSARY!
The first story of this chapter is 5 years old by now, bloody fantastic! Congrats!
I still love this story, just as I did the first time I found and read it.
Lots of hugs and kisses!

Really amazing story! I've been rereading this for some years but I've only now finished it because I was too scared to see the ending to it Dx Glad I finally finished before it got put down or something :) I wish I can save it on my device or print it out to reread it for many years on :') Seriously, if this work was ever published, I would be one of the first ones to buy it xD I loved the ending, but wow some foreshadowing at the end there OAO Hopefully Daniel is okay with being brought back xD wished that happens so they lived together forever. They deserve it :') To be honest, I resented Maria for pulling them apart. Damn it's like Rosyth never caught a break: his cousin, the emperor, even his sister wanted him to suffer!(he had no choice!) And really, if you put it all down to it, it was the sister's fault for bring the wrath down on their family and starting all these events. She should have known before starting the rebellion that her family would be the first ones to be punished. She should have hidden them and discussed her plan with them cuz she's risking all their lives without consent. Anyway, she redeemed herself by being there for Daniel (even tho I'm still mad at her for taking him away) anyway, I'm so happy you ended it in a happy note! I was really afraid Daniel and Rosyth were gonna be alone forever D'x thanks for sharing!

Where can I even start with how much this piece of work felt so real to me, how much and why I love it?
First, I'll start with the characters, which have stood so starkly to me. So many of them are loveable and though I usually cringe at OCs, you have managed to twist a charm into their characters and personalities that made it so hard not to like or even love them (my favorite will and always be Maria/Hazel). They felt human in ways that I can hardly believe are simply words on a screen. The way their emotions and thoughts play out in their actions but especially as seen through Daniel's eyes to interpret them made everything come into a whole. Everything in his perspective gives a tint towards the characters but at the same time, each person is still their own even if Daniel, and thus us, do not understand why they act or feel as they do. In turn, each of these characters' well thought-out personality allowed natural conflicts to solutions to crop up with minimal outside intervention and drama and the drama that DOES occur is so natural that I'm able to see the why and how they came to a certain point.
The most striking to me was how you managed to write Daniel. There are no words to express how much I loved the way you worked his past into the person he is now. It is such a big part of who he is yet it doesn't step over the boundary of melodrama that I can't help but marvel at the way you made him out so human and so flawed yet still so strong.
Everyone was able to grow and watching them do so was a journey that I found myself investing in as much as the characters themselves and I simply loved how non-static and dynamic they were.
Second is the way you illustrated this world. The culture and the world's inhabitants are so vivid that it wasn't hard to completely immerse myself in a reality that wasn't an actual reality. The way you managed to space everything out so that it wasn't a complete info dump the moment Daniel arrived is one that I look to in relief. Instead, you allowed us to walk through the process with Daniel, feeling around tentatively as many of the readers would've if confronted with a strange, foreign world and allowing pieces to filter through to give clues as to the kind of the world we are in. Many times I have found myself curious about the new world and culture you presented me with but you never left me hanging and answered all of the questions you have set out at the beginning rather than forgetting about them and leaving them dangling question marks. I see it as good story planning because the questions were very relevant to the story itself and the conflict you were building towards.
Third is the plot. While there is no major plot in the conventional sense in which the protagonist must fulfill goal A, B, C, the story still manages to have me at the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next. I suppose the plot, though more of a musing, would be something along the lines of, "Would there ever be a way for Daniel to quell his animosity towards Alexander and come to terms with himself?"
It's an intriguing study with many twists and turns (though I admit that I had my suspicions about how Rosyth was Alexander almost from the beginning but I kept doubting my suspicions as other people walked into the story XD) but linked to the first point I made about why I love this story so much, it was like watching a flower grow from day to day until it bloomed at the end.
It has been an absolute pleasure and joy to have read this story and I thank you for being able to finish what would've been a novel if it were published into a book in a little over a year. You have my respect and admiration and I think I will be referring to this story from now on as an example about character-writing.
Thank you again for reading this lengthy thing (if you do still, in fact, read reviews after a few years done with this story) and I hope I have not embarrassed you too much. Cheers!

If the story ended at "Such a grim smile on Rosyth's lips as he accepted all his sins at last." You would have actually been the new Shakespeare. I love it when stories end with extreme plot twists! I never realized that this entire story was leading up to this, but I am shaking in my seat. I normally really dislike Alexander x Daniel fanfiction, but seriously. Seriously. CAN THIS EVEN BE CALLED THAT? YOU ARE A GOD.

Okokokok, this story has to be my favourite of all the Amnesia fanfics I've ever read (before it was Spirit that Denies not to be creepy or anything). At first I though Rosyth was the most amazing OC to ever live. Usually I don't read OC fanfics because most of them I've read are not that well written (maybe I'm just unlucky?), but I instantly fell inlove with Rosyth. The plot twist with the time traveling was quite smart thought and it gave the story that extra brain power and twist that I love!
I will never forget this story and I will (MUST) read it again sometime! Also, I've got this nagging urge to draw these two, maybe I'll post a link or something :b
OK sorry for the rambles, I just love this so much! Every aspect of it! So well written, amazing plotting and god was I mad if they didn't end up together again x) Happy endings C:
Thank you for writing this! C:

Holy crap, I'm rereading all your Amnesia stories again and I'm just as impressed as I was the first time around.
While obviously Spirit and Strange Geometry (which I haven't finished rereading yet - saving it up :3) kill every single fan fiction (or novel to be honest) by ways of story (I remember wanting to go to sleep because it was midnight and then BOOM MAJOR PLOT TWIST and then having to stay up until 2 am to read what the hell was going on), your writing style, your language is beautiful in all of them. There is an Austrian author by the name of Hoffmannsthal who was known to write just for the things to sound pretty. That's how you write, just with plot and emotions and all the things.
Also, I love how you have these recurring themes in your different fan fictions, like the monster (and inviting it in, hehe), the pride, and I'm sure you know the list better than me.
One of my favorite things as someone who just kind of grew out of yaoi as a whole, is that, aside from pronouns, your characters are not very genderspecific in their behavior; or at least don't feel that way. I don't know whether that was your intention, but I enjoy that either way.
A lot of people have commented on this, but the world you build up is awesome. The thought tendrils, the problems going along with that (things never feel like cop outs with you - kudos!), the advanced technology, just the way you hint at what's going to go down in SG, and of course the fact that in SG it always feels like you know all the details to that world - it's just Daniel who doesn't.
All in all, you are my favorite author EVER. I was lured in by the promises of yaoi years ago and was amazed complicated, unforseeable and investing stories, beautiful writing and just always wanting to read more, not for the shipping, but for what is going on. If you wrote a book, I'd buy it. And annoy all my friends by fangirling about it :D
(PS: I notice some Twilight influences...;3)
(Probably gonna post another, separate review for this story when I'm done...)

I can't even count how many times I've read this story over and over again and yet the end of this chapter always seems to throw me off! This really is an incredible piece of work and ab exemplary story.

| Hissery chapter 36 . 10/17/2013
Rosyth and necro-Daniel together 5eva.
I'm ecstatic that they got such a happy(?) ending together, and was even more thrilled that Rosyth was still a creeper. It's a love that transcends dimensions, time, death and ethics. Speaking of which, poor Hy'vel - I guess the most his sacrifice accomplished was to help inspire Maria/Hazel's rebellion? Poor thing, I was pretty attached to him as a side character.
| Miah The Storm Wolf chapter 36 . 10/8/2013
Well, I for one thought the last part was cute and very fitting for these two.
| Sunlit'Interlude chapter 1 . 9/14/2013
So onto the review that I had to delay - I haven't reread everything, but still, it's all really wonderful!
I enjoy how you add humor, comfort, vulnerability and then fear such as in chapter 1 (there are many other examples in the following chapters, but I can't go about listing all of them) where Danny thinks "…not to mention naked" gives a new grounding to a character readers only know from the game. You're mindful of the historical time Danny comes from and use it to your advantage as you show other parts of his mind such as when he focuses on the otherworldly elements of this new world or dangerous aspects of Rosyth: such as his spine, teeth, etc. We almost seem to have never left Brennenburg. Parallels such as how the castles are at first a place of haven, later a hurtful place, and finally destroyed, but never forgotten.
I've reread quiet a bit and really...you are great at storytelling and you usually keep me curious for more. I do think your writing ability can keep growing, but I've seen poorly written published works out there and you are way above them. Even in terms of a story, no matter how creepy, you make it very intriguing to read unlike some of the published garbage. More importantly, it's new. It's an unexplored world! Sure themes have been used before, but you've done it really well. You've created a new race, world, culture...and it wouldn't have been as great without your writing.
And the ending! Wow, what a chapter! Daniels and Rosyth's love is so disturbing, yet, beautiful. I'm really thankful that you have continued this story to the end and shared it with us despite having so many ordeals and obstacles right now. I hope you continue to write!
