I really like this story, especially the title haha. Although tbh I'm scared of what's in store for the future, like why Sasuke lost his memory and stuffs like that XD I hope he can sort out himself and whatever issues he has first though before anything serious occurs between them. Another thing, I just love Sakura's characterization in this.

I am so, so happy I gave this story a chance. It's absolutely beautiful.
First off, I love stories written in present tense. I think it's more powerful than past tense, which is typically more comfortable to write; it makes the reader feel like they're inside the character's heads, watching things unfold as they happen, rather than afterwards. And you don't lapse into past tense accidentally even once. I love that.
I'm also incredibly in love with your characterization. Of Sasuke, of course, but mostly of Sakura. With Sasuke in such a vulnerable state right now, it would be all too easy for her to take advantage of that, and insert herself into the relationship he wants without considering the possible consequences: like, for example, what will happen if he ever gets his memories back. Instead, she pulls back and thinks about what's best for both of them, which at this point, isn't a relationship. You portray her as hopeful but doubtful all at the same time, her feelings for Sasuke as strong as ever, but tempered by a lack of faith in their probability to succeed romantically. She remembers how badly she's been hurt by him over the years and isn't eager to put herself in a situation where she's vulnerable to him again. I love that. It shows her growth as a character, all while retaining the self-doubt and second thoughts her character is known for. She's self-aware enough to realize that what she wants and what she needs are not necessarily the same thing, and looks at the situation logically, when in her younger days, she would be ruled entirely by her heart. I liked her question to Sasuke, too, "If you can't even deal with your own feelings, how can you expect to deal with mine?" And I loved how you ended things on a hopeful note. The proverbial, "not now, but maybe," that gives everyone faith that things will work themselves out. Beautiful.
The plot is pretty unique, too; that's saying something in a fandom as huge as this. I'm dying to know what happened to Sasuke to cause his memory loss, and what Shikamaru finds when he checks the old records. The mission Sasuke and Sakura are on is shaping up to be interesting, too, and I love how you incorporated Sakura's love for her village. I think that's a really understated theme to the Naruto story, considering she was willing to betray Sasuke before Konoha. That says a lot about her character in recent chapters, how she's matured enough to recognize that no boy is worth all of her friends.
Sorry I'm late to this bandwagon, but I'm so glad I jumped on anyways. Thank you for such a beautiful story. Good luck with your finals!
xoxo Daisy :)

I LOVE the longer chapters...but it's really up to you because i also dislike waiting for updates haha. You are amazing though! this is a great story and i think this was my favorite chapter. you are really giving the sakura and sasuke of this story a lot of depth and i like it. :) great job!

whatta cockblock. but as much as I want him to have sexytimes with sakura, sasuke definitely needs to sort himself out first. and I wish he would be friends with naruto again soon :(
also, on the subject of chapters, I would appreciate frequent updates as opposed to longer ones. longer doesn't necessarily mean better! it doesn't matter as long as you properly convey the feeling/action

You mean the 'continued story of how a writer develops!'
I'm not even supposed to be here right now. I've /somehow/ abstained from reading any SasuSaku stories since the beginning of the school year but now that finals are clubbing me over the head, I just had to-indulge in a little, and BAM. Here I am.
It's been a while since I've read your works. And it's great to see how far you've developed ; 0 ; Like a fetus before my eyes !
Anyways, I love the Sasuke you have here. Very interesting premise of how you would have interpreted an amnesiac Sasuke... you can tell he still has some of his innate qualities but also, you emphasized that besides the revenge and the skills -everything he's trained for- he's really nothing more than that at this point. He has successfully stunted his social and emotional skills and even though he's obviously a full-grown adult and done things that children don't even do, he's really still much of a child in that aspect. And it's such a mind-boggler to see Sakura being the mature one in the relationship; at times, I swear she's like his mother, and that's a bit disconcerting to admit. But it flows with the story, so bah.
This chapter has to be one of my favorites; I thought it couldn't have gotten any more interesting after Sasuke tried to put 'the moves' on Sakura but that end there.. man. Couldn't have picked a better way to do it myself; it was surprising and yet expected all at once. I like how you made Sakura strong here (unlike a certain..mangaka I know..cough), but still maintaining that inner emotional struggle that makes her, well, Sakura. How you outlined her thoughts, and her reactions to Sasuke's bipolar mouth, andand-everything! and it all finally accumulates to this one point! YES.
And now I think I'll shut up now and go back to studying (and crying).

LOVED this chapter! :D I'm glad you're working on developing their relationship! Thanks

HEEEYYY! You're back! Awesome-sauce! Nice update. I think I totally love where the story's going. Sasu-chan is so cute. :" I both love and hate that Sakura's playing hard to get. Love it cause she's finally a rational thinking adult who thinks before she acts rather than being an immature fan girl and hate it because she's giving Sasu-chan a hard time. Obviously, I love Sasu-chan. Longer chapters, please! They're totally worth waiting for 3

Awesome chapter! I love the tension between Sasuke & Sakura!

This is a really good story. I like the way you've portrayed Sakura and Sasuke, though the ups and downs of their relationship is a bit repetitive. You also evoke emotion with this story. I can really feel for both Sakura and Sasuke.

I dunno Sakura, maybe you should take the risk and give in to Sasuke. You might get hurt in the future but at least you gave it a chance. Hahaha! As if you'd listen to me. ;)
