I am still hanging in there to read this story. I know what you mean. But sometimes we are our own worst enemies. I enjoyed the story. Not saying there were no mistakes. So I look forward to reading the rewritten one also.

This is a brave thing to do and I admire you for it. I'm sure there will be plenty looking forward to the new revised edition - Torchwood get new readers all the time.

All I could think is that Ianto probably want to work or got pissed. Go to work to down or his emotions by keeping busy. Getting drunk is an obvious scenario but very cliche. I guess there's always talking to a friend which might be Tosh since he knew Jack was working by late.

So far I'm finding Gwen incredibly annoying with her self centered personality and thinking of who she could shag next. I been hoping she screws up and gets fired from the beginning.

Lisa seeing someone else behind Ianto’s back was mean but it hardly seemed like they were dating in my opinion. From the little insight there is to his out of work hours it's still spent around Jack. It felt like they only saw each other at work.

Renee as a character I like so far. She's protective and not afraid to make sure he family will be happy. I really enjoyed the part of dinner when she threatened Gwen. Gotta love it when Gwen is knocked off her pedestal.

I just found this storyline today and am enjoying it immensely.
I think this chapter iis good. It shows how devastated Ianto is, and makes good foundation for him to good do whatever you have planned for poor Ianto.
It also shows Jack is ready to take care on Ianto whether or not he wants him too.
The family involvement is brilliant. This could lead to so many little twists. Have Zach I. There is just to damn cute. You really need to bring him back. BabiesIantoawwww!
BTW I am not a Gwen fan and am really enjoying to Gwen bash!

Glad you are back, I like the sort of stories where Ianto is employed by Jack, being the boss and the slow build up to where they full in love with lots of Gwen bashing

Oh dear... I'm REALLY worried about Ianto right now. I doubt leaving him be is the right thing to do. Him going missing like this ISN'T good news...!
Gosh, I'm looking forward to happier times for Ianto - together with Jack, because those two belong together.
