ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! Love the way you write these characters, especially Harry! LOVED this plot and concept! Clever title! Very well-written! I hope you come back to this someday! Awesome job, thanks for posting! :D

My first thought was that Rachel was one of the famous incarnations of Hogwarts. I've seen many, but it is rare it has her own personality, much less enough of it to give herself a proper name. But for some reason I doubt it.
Second thought, it would be another fairy, a Seelie. But that would go against giving Harry information that could be used against her too, and the fact you already mentioned they would not see a reason to help just because the Unseelie are there.

Oh, and just something I'd like to mention... the descriptions of Harry's wolf form, ever since the first chapters, made me think of Killer Instinct's Sabrewulf. He, Count/Baron (depends on the game, even a character in the third game mentions she doesn't know which he is) Konrad von Sabrewulf, is a werewolf that still keeps enough of his mind to try to research a cure even though stuck in humanoid wolf form, yet needs to resist the wolf instincts not to go on a rampage.
I know, their stories and personalities are kinda incompatible, yet I can't think of Harry's wolf form as anything but Sabrewulf, imagine fight scenes with him doing Sabrewulf's combos, and even knowing the chances of so happening are minimum keep expecting Harry to be declared a new kind of werewolf called a Sabrewulf. Why? Because Sabrewulf is awesome! He even got his own gameboy advance game (well, actually he had a game for ZX Spectrum 10 years before Killing Instinct was made, but who plays those anymore?), although he was only an unstopable wolf of evil there instead of a character struggling for controlling himself and to regain his humanity.
...Yeah, I am disappointed, but it was an expectation I created myself and you had no reason to even think about it, so I should apologize for that...
...But a mention of Sabrewulf in future chapters, even if a minor one, would be awesome!

Very enjoyable story. The mix of werewolves, slide and wizards not one I have read before. I'm a bit disappointed that there has been no updates in over two years and hope that this story won't end up being one of the many unofficially abandoned ones on this site. Thanks for writing.

And now the fae are the 'tip of the iceberg' and we'll be dealing with 'inter-planar entities?' If you wanted to write about such stuff, you should have put them into a different story. It derailed what was once your best story.

This is still a good story, but I feel like you've lost control of it. It started as a really funny, even light-hearted romp with a new kind of wolf!Harry. The conflict with Voldemort, which should still be the center of any Harry Potter story, was quickly overwhelmed by the introduction of a whole society of werewolves. Then we have the introduction of the Seelie/Unseelie courts, a third (fourth?) front to this 'war,' and none of it feels like it really fits into the HP universe.

Perhaps it might have worked if you hadn't stuck so closely to canon for the first 2/3 of the story. I don't know. At any rate, the story now lacks the humor and 'fun' tone of the first few chapters and seems barely within the realm of an HP story now.

Brilliant chapter; it's very refreshing to see an alternative to the flesh/blood/bone resurrection ritual.

As far as DLP is concerned, don't let their contempt bother you at all. I used to be a regular contributor there, until I grew up and realized that they were the fanfiction equivalent of 4-chan. That place is inhabited by a bunch of ignorant, arrogant adolescents with no literary education or basic human decency. With a few exceptions, they are thoroughly contemptible people.

You are not a great writer, but you are certainly a very good one, and your stories are very entertaining. Your biggest weakness is just the need for a strong editor who can pick out missing words and awkward phrases. But that's really not a big deal. Keep up the good work and just ignore the assholes at DLP.

Now that was a fantastic opening chapter. I can't wait to read more. Well done.
