Reviews for Drown |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for this wonderful story, I have immensly enjoyed my time reading it. However; the thing I'm most thankful for is that you introduced me to Two Steps from Hell! I've never heard anything of them prevoiusly, and it's now my new favourite band, going on repeat during my daily commute. Listening to Dragon Rider always bring a big grin on my face and thinking about Loki. |
![]() ![]() Wait, Strange got his power at around 2016, right? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've enjoyed the story so far. It's definitely adding more mythology to what I know of the MCU and the little I know of the comics. This chapter made Jarvis a bit annoying, but on general I've liked what I've read and I'm hoping as I keep reading there's resolution and fulfilment for the characters. I don't know if it'll fit in with the plot but I'm hoping by the time I get to the end of the story that Loki somewhat makes a family of his own on Midgard and there isn't a forgiveness arc for everything the Asgardians/his adopted family have done to him, andaybe there's something about Loki saving/interacting with his children. I guess congrats are in order now that I'm realizing I was given enough to think about and feel about to review under halfway through the story |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story is absolutely amazing. Wow is it so fun. |
![]() ![]() ![]() great story. love the character development and interactions. |
![]() ![]() What I'm curious to know is: Did Clint find Loki before or after he used the bathroom? Because if it was before, then clearly he didn't need to go badly enough to interrupt an important meeting if he had time to stop and attack Loki. Sorry, I know I seem to be stuck on this bathroom thing, but logical inconsistencies always bother me to no end. |
![]() ![]() I mean, if Stark really thought that Clint should have been able to wait, then he should have said, "I'm not telling you where the bathroom is until we finish this." |
![]() ![]() And people don't decide what their needs are. If he needed to go, then he did the responsible thing. He only WANTED to go, then yeah, it'd be silly. But I tell my employees all the time: No matter what's going on, excuse yourself to the bathroom if you need to. We're all human regardless of our status, every human body has a limit, and we'd rather wait a few minutes for you to return to the meeting than to have you piss/shit/vomit/bleed in front of us. Adults shouldn't have to be told that, but unfortunately, humans are ignorantly prideful about our bodily functions. |
![]() ![]() I mean, he was just being polite and didn't want to risk having to interrupt in the middle of the meeting, seeing as how he didn't know how long it would last. Everyone else probably already had a chance to go or just didn't need to. Don't judge the man unless you've been tracking his fluid intake/bowel movements. |
![]() ![]() "Until you decided you needed the bathroom less than one minute in." Yeah, but after how long without going before he arrived? Besides, the amount of waste is what determines whether you can wait, not how much time has passed. |
![]() ![]() "Where's the bathroom?" doesn't break the mood. lol. But NOT asking sure can... Even superheroes bathroom breaks. |
![]() ![]() Loki's submissive attitude towards Pepper is actually more consistent with someone who did NOT get away with much as a child. Speaking from experience, when you spend the first couple of decades of your life being brutally beaten for accidentally pouring a little too much milk in your own cereal or oversleeping on WEEKENDS, any angry accusation automatically puts you in that state. |
![]() ![]() OH MY WORD YOU ARE THE BEST YOU ARE AMAZING! I COULD EVEN COMPARE YOU TO CASSIA AND SIO YOU ARE SO GOOD |
![]() ![]() ![]() huh... that was fuckin complex... kudos to you thane of stories |
