Jose19 chapter 1 . 12/4/2014 The only question is that person that plays opposite Louise in the story because he would normally be paired up with Louise but this person is more than 3 times the age of Louise so this means that this story has Romantic pairing like the canon one. |
Sum9 chapter 6 . 11/23/2014 Magnifico! I've kept my silence until now, but I gotta review. Praises! I've nothing but praises for your story. Bravo. Ezio is so in character it's painful! His devil-may-care attitude mixed with Louise's early-on demeanor make for some hilarious and warm moments. How you handled the Guiche confrontation was both moving and powerful. Guiche's heartfelt humility was gratifying to read. Moreso when Ezio befriended him on the spot and took him under his wing, as it were. Getting Louise riled up makes scenes that much more entertaining. Great use of inspiration tying Brimir to the Templars and the Staff of Destruction to the Pieces of Eden plot. That was simply inspired! Many author's miss the opportunity for this, but as Megamind once made clear, "Presentation!" is what separates the pro from the amateur. When Ezio set off his fireworks to impress the crowd at the fair while making his master look amazing, my heart was pounding. Bravo! You liberal use of Italian and French was both enriching and welcome. I may not speak either, but being a partial romance language as English is, I can interpret most of it by intent. Again, bravo! It takes craft to feel like I am witnessing charaters play out their plots within a world of fiction, and this story feels as close to that as one can get. It just bleeds confidence. I tip my hat to your skill and wit! On one final note, my deepest sympathies on your loss of your works at the time of this chapter's posting. I know that pain. I lost 1,000 words worth of story right at the climax. Losing that was so deflating I felt as if I lost something I could never get back! Good on you for sticking through it to the end and getting this out. That's discipline and inspiration if I've ever seen it. So that's my share. Thought I'd let it out as I recall what I've read. |
Baast chapter 10 . 11/20/2014 For the characters in the council scene, it is a bit hard to say. I find them interesting, but they are squashed under Mazarin's presence, and Agnes' disdain for them (and considering this chapter is written from her point of view...). You can't tell much about Mazarin, he seems like a good guy, and yet you can't help but be wary of him. That's what make him interesting, the fact that you can't guess a thing about him. The chase scene flowed well, I have nothing particular to say about it. The relation between ezio louise and derflinger is downright funny, and also realistic, it has all the ingredients for entertaining conversations. I can't say much about Roberto, he is fun but perhaps a bit cliché? And yet not really too... It's hard to tell for now. Agnes was perfect. I find her so well written, perhaps one of the characters best written in this story. Her natural agressivity clashing with Louise made an interesting discussion, tense enough. Please, no translation! It's more fun that way, it makes it more mysterious, more realistic, and if you are really interested in understanding what is said, well you learn better by searching for the answers yourself :) . |
Shadowprice chapter 10 . 11/13/2014 this is amazing you make more, it's very interesting |
mantimeforgot chapter 10 . 10/24/2014 I was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoyed reading a crossover between two things I considered to be so disparate in setting, but this was done well enough that I do not think too much of import was sacrificed on either side and the overall product is fairly engaging. I found the chase and fight scenes to be written well enough to create tension, and the drama of not knowing who would be injured or killed was established well enough to keep the reader interested in seeing if those they had a vested interest in surviving would make it. I would like to see a more subtle side to Ezio come out (always winning via stabbing the enemy is starting to lose its luster; not to say that no one should be stabbed again by any means), but since the coming plot line smacks of intrigue I suspect the chance of a few choice poisonings or timely explosions will be presented. Please continue this fic; it is definitely worth finishing. |
languid reader chapter 10 . 10/19/2014 ezio's caught between a rock and a hard place: save a regime he is disgusted with, that oppresses the masses, or let the people get caught in a war of conquest once the regime self-destructs. |
i like cheese chapter 7 . 10/19/2014 i'm a bit disappointed that ezio isn't trying to champion the common folk a bit more, but i suppose for him it really doesn't matter who is and isn't oppressed. |
MyNameIsNoneOfYourBusiness chapter 10 . 10/14/2014 Oh my god iwantoknowhathappens! _ I've pretty much spent all my free time reading this story on the last few days. You write really well, and I'm so caught on this story! I'm seriously twitching and wondering if there is assasins vs templars factor somewhere and asdfghjkl. I really hope you'd update again, even after half a year. :) But something I've been wondering, you'd think Louise did more? She doesn't seem the type to run around the place just to follow Ezio... Actually it could be I a sense interesting to see the clash of their personalities in a situation in which both want to do something, and both are RIGHT. :) But I really wish you'd update. I love this story. U_U _ |
Reads-by-Lamplight chapter 10 . 9/29/2014 This is one of my favorite fics. Please do not stop writing it. |
HikariNoTenshi-San chapter 10 . 9/20/2014 I don't know how you're making this crossover work so well and I don't care. It's f-ing awesome and I love it. xD I await the update! |
Primus2021 chapter 10 . 9/18/2014 I thought Rberto was going to be the Grand Mentor of ts AC of the FoZ realm, oh well. |
Isamaru chapter 10 . 9/17/2014 ...There are no words to describe how epic this story is. Keep up the great work! |
Krulla Chief chapter 8 . 9/17/2014 You know, if Desmond was reliving Ezio reliving Desmonds memories, that could cause an infinite feedback loop of mindfuck. |
Lord Sia chapter 10 . 9/8/2014 I love this fic so much. The world building is fantastic - you take the framework of Zero no Tsukaima and create a believable, realistic setting out of it. All of my likes, really. |
R-dude chapter 10 . 8/31/2014 Hey. Pretty cool story you've got here. I hope it's not abandoned. Also, not sure if you're aware, but there's a Naruto/FZ crossover fic that's almost exactly the same as this. Not sure which came first, so I'm not pointing any fingers, but felt you should know if you don't already do. |
