![]() ![]() ![]() I've been reading this all night. Your writing skills are phenomenal! And I absolutely love your incredibly sarcastic sense of humor. :) Your portrayal of the Jotuns and their culture is amazing and I think it fits perfectly. I especially love the fact that you're not shoving Odin/Loki reconciliation down our throats. You judge each character's reaction to every possible situation with tremendous insight, and I better stop before I bore you with flattery. :) This is one of the best stories that I've ever read, and hopefully it continues for a bit longer. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() FAN! |
![]() ![]() So sad Loki is still caught in the middle; nowehere really at home, nowhere safe, nowhere trusted, not even by Thor (or in Helblindi's case, at least not feeling trusted). He may not be trustworthy, but then Odin should never have pushed him into a position of such responsibility. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw, what the hell, Loki. Just go ahead and ice-over your room. No one would really be surprised and it would send a very clear message to the Allfather to boot! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Update! And this was quite interesting inthat Loki was able to realize he was getting frustrated with Thor about something that was entirely Thor's doing. It was a good moment of insight, I think. It's good to see Loki's relations with the Jotuns progress, that he feels more comfortable, that he recognizes the advantages of his birth planet. And a huge step for him to finally be open to and almost wish for sleeping outside Thor's company. I love them together, I lobe the closeness, but it's important for both of them. That said, I truly hope Odin's request is not the reason behind it. I want it ti be 'cause they want and need it. No need to reinforce Odin's beliefs that he's always right. Thanks for the update. Maia. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmm, could there possibly be some chemistry between Angrboda and Loki? ;) Also, nice inclusion of Utgarde-Loki and explanation for his name :) Though, that does bring into question how Odin knew Loki's name in the first place instead of renaming him after he took him in. If the Jotuns knew the stolen prince's name, wouldn't it have been suspicious for an Asgardian prince to show up with the same name? You coulda covered this before, but It's been awhile, and I'm forgetful . Glad this story's still going! I await your next update :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() awesome, again :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Of course we are still with you! How could we possibly forget about this amazing story? You created all the right expectations about the dinner. Let's see if Thor will be able to behave. And how Loki will balance between his two families and his two natures. Guess it won't be easy for him... Looking forward to the next update! |
![]() ![]() Oh heck yes I'm still with you! I always will be ghehehe :D Great chapter, as always, looking forward to the next one ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful! I hope you are able to update quickly :D we will impatiently await your next chapter |
![]() ![]() ![]() Definitely, still with you. I missed this story. Can't wait to read the next chapter. |
![]() ![]() I'm still here & still enjoying this! I hope no Aesir make trouble for the visiting giants (I like the jotuns). |
![]() ![]() ![]() Still here! I'm really hoping the rest of the evening turns out okay - it would be depressing for all that negotiation to be for naught. I hope Loki gets his living arrangements worked out, and that he and Helblindi continue on good terms. Loki's "cousin" is astoundingly patient and puts up with a lot of Loki's strange requests, so I hope Loki remembers to act generously toward him. As a question, was the giant named after Loki actually /named/ "Loki"? If so, does that mean that Odin both knew and kept the name Loki was born with? |
![]() ![]() this story... how did you come up with it! its truly amazing |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for another chapter |
