the story follows canon far to closely gor my liking others may enjoy the story as its well enough written however

This is one of those fanfics I've read multiple times. It has its flaws, but it's still a fun read.

The gendry-arya romance feels forced and rather gross. She's 10 while he's 15, that's too much of an age gap.

Gendry is going through puberty, his attention will drawn to adult women. Arya shouldn't even be on his radar, she' only a prepubescant child.

Realistically, he would be ignoring her until she grows up some more.
Same thing with the Hound and Sansa romance, totally forced. It just doesn't feel natural.

It's strange a father of two daughters would write something like this.

Bravo, good sir. Bra-fucking-vo. I literally could not stop reading this. Excellent work. I look forward to getting into part 2 & hope the quality maintains. While I have some complaints & nitpicks about mischaracterisation & stuff, overall, it was well done & it is a fanfiction, meaning the author can take liberties. Above all, I was thoroughly entertained & I will be sad when I finally reach the end. Thank you for writing this.

Interesting to have Tywin killed by a shadow. Not because Joffery is king, because the line then falls to Tommen, but because Stannis supposedly couldn’t given Melisandre another son in the show. Not sure about the books, but I know that’s the thing about FF :)

Looking forward to seeing if you have Robb actually marry into the Freys. I think with his father there he would have been less likely to bed and wed outside of his agreement but can’t wait to see.
