I'm really enjoying this story. This chapter particularly was good with the conversation between Tywin and Eddard. I'd just like to point out that it always throws me out a bit to hear a commoner use proper diction "my lord", when in the books only highborn people say it. Gendry and the other boys should say "m'lord". Otherwise I love the attention to detail. Drawing on Tyrion's experience with the cisterns and sewers to take Harrenhal was inspired. I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of this story has in store.

I know that you are probably too busy to read every single one of these, and much too busy to respond. I know that I have now gone through the entirety of the first part of your epic tale without leaving a single comment, save this one. And I know that this review will most likely go unmarked, unnoticed, and unmentioned. Even so, I feel obligated to write it all the same.
This story is one of the single greatest on our dear site. There are stories where I feel bored with what is going on presently, and go do other things. There are stories that I read, start to finish, all in one sitting. Then there are a few stories like this one. Stories that grip. Stories that question. Stories that make you look outside and wonder when morning came or where the day had gone. Stories that rise above and beyond the modern muckery that has begrudged our site.
And I thank and commend you for it.
I look forward to taking to your next 'part' with as much gusto as I have to this one.

Oh if only Stannis and Tyrion knew they were on the same wavelength about that damn throne. Stannis could actually be the best king out of the lot of them he's tough but fair and not as unstable as Dany seems to be getting in recent episodes.

Stannis, Baelish, the red witch, and the onion knight that is either the most cunning and dangerous combination in the 7 kingdoms or its going to erupt horribly.

Thank you for writing this remarkable AU. Really well done and I love how the simplest changes resulted in greater results, such as a decision to send out Littlefinger, only for him to be caught and to turncoat. I love the Arya and Gendry bits. I agree that Ned and Cat would have probably been harsher, but the realization that Arya would probably run rather than conform is also something that they would have to take into account. Stannis' practicality in smoothing out the throne was hilarious and awesome. Great work.

Ok, this was great. I really wish the series went with your story except some few parts like Gendry and Arya becoming that close. Gendry and Sansa sound a lot better. Also, didn't enjoy the idea of Robb Stark dying and returning. For those of us that have watched the series, we know Roose Bolton to be a bad guy, (new kingslayer). Now, I just feel some kind of pity for him.

Somehow I have expected Tywin's thoughts to be a bit differently written than the rest of the points of view. He is such a peculiar man it would be fitting to have the writing style change to show it. Oh, well.

It is a bit weird how no Starks were harmed in making of this fic so far. Uh, I think I jinxed it!

"Direwolf," she whispered. "Bigger. She was my pet. There were six. One for each of us. But Nymeria bit Joffrey and she had to run away but they killed Sansa's Lady to punish us."

I am just wandering if it wouldn't have been better to write 'Sansa's lady' because Gendry doesn't know it is a personal name. Since we are in his POV at the moment.
