Love your connection to historic events. Creepy. Great story as always. Thanks!

I like that you hold on to the brothers' awesome relationship. i especially dislike when the show screws with it. That's the best part of the series, i wish they'd leave it alone. Too many ups and downs for my taste. I say, love each other and forgive! But i like your stories.
| Keiou chapter 1 . 5/29/2014
Wow, that was amazing as always. And I feel as if I've learned so much just by reading fanfiction, thanks.
The whole story was exciting and gripping from the beginning and got better and better.
I love your original characters. Even the ghost. He was alive(lol) in his bad guy role. Somehow the fact that he was a former cop made him even scarier- at least for me. Cops and the law scare me more than psychopaths sometimes, when they're not friendly.
I really liked Steve and the way Dean (or Sam)talked about him as well. Like he was already his buddy.
And Frank of course. Did you mention how old he is? I failed at doing the math with the stated dates so I simply imagined him as a guy in his eighties and so I always thought "Wow, he's pretty alive and kicking for his age", lol.
The part where Dean went out on his own to eat 'cause Sam took too long, made me laugh hard. Poor Dean had to deal with a dedicated veggie place, ahaha. The way he mentioned the bean sprouts and complained about the "coffee"(and drowning in it) was hilarious and so in-chara. I really enjoyed it and laughed out loud for a few times- which made my roommate jump.
When he ordered the burgers and CHERRY pie from Sam I knew something was up. As if he could get his beloved pie right away. I bet this is the cause of all evil in the show!
Speaking of in-chara. Wow. In my opinion you nailed it with both brothers perfectly and I can't name one thing that couldn't be explained. I love Dean's overprotective role and Sam trying (and sometimes manage) to "return the favor" of beeing a hen. But he's always his eyes on Dean, even when he isn't talking about it- and that came out just right in this story.
I loved all the action, too. And I didn't expect it all to happn so fast. When Pritchard appeared behind Sam and he jumped him you caughed me off guard and I couldn't imagine what's going to happen at the end of the story when they ended up in the hospital just at the beginning.
Oh, and I really liked the nurse as well! It has been a while since I've read about Dean hitting on a girl. Somehow that alll got lost in angst of the last months...I guess.
And Bobby! Your Bobby is just as ass kicking and hilarious as the grumpy original, haaah. You've done a great job. It felt just like him and you made me miss him hard. D:
He made me laugh as well with his comments. Like the one were he responded on the brother's talking in sync.
I would love to see him again in one of your stories!
Usually I enjoy it more when Sam is the one getting in the centre of the...the...hurt-storm...but him beeing the one to rescue Dean- in such a badass way- made everything worth it and somehow I ended up enjoying all of it just like every other part of the story. It was really exciting.
When you mentioned the bags of salt Dean was tied onto, the first thing I thought was: "Hah, stupid ghost! Surely the salt will disintegrate and Dean will pop up at the surface and sneak back to you!" But then it became clear that this was a stupid thought and I was back at urging on Sam to hurry up.
Did I mention that I love Sam and Dean in your stories? Well I can't praise you enough and I'm looking forward to look up more of your work.
Thank you very much for writing and sharing such an awesome story. Have a nice weekend (tomorrow, haha).
Greets, Teiou :)

Loved how you took the actual history of the smugglers and wove it into this entertaining and heart-stopping story. I had my heart in my mouth when Sam was diving down to save Dean and cut him free of the salt bags as you really ramped the tension up there! The well-thought out story was perfect, the spirit of a cop doling out his own justice where he thought the authorities had failed and great that the retired cop was open to Sam's explanation and helped them. And good old Bobby finding someone to salt and burn Pritchard's remains as he was too busy finding and saving Dean.
On to the last one of your stories I haven't yet read, do hope you have some more in the pipeline!

Once again you combine the ability to take solid research and twist it into a terrific story with a talent for cranking up the angst. 'Submerged Dean' - eek!

What a great use of an old New England criminal legend. I like stories where the law realises that Sam and Dean are good guys.

Awesome as usual! Enjoyed, thank you :-)
| TinTin11 chapter 1 . 8/12/2012
As usual, the background information and history you weave through your stories is great! And wonderful hurt!brothers too! Lovely story!
| Slinky-and-the-BloodyWands chapter 1 . 7/29/2012
Fantastic hunt! Very well written. Smugglers seem so Hardy Boys, which fits so well with the Winchester boys ;) And then, a cop ghost gone bad? "Awesome."
| Y.R. Night chapter 1 . 7/8/2012
You are an absolutely fantastic writer. I love how you used actual pieces of history in your story. Was Captain Pritchard a real person (I think I recognized the name)? Anyway, it was very well written, and I loved it :)
| missingmikey chapter 1 . 6/25/2012
Loved the story - love how you treat the interactions between the brothers in all of your stories!
| zuimar chapter 1 . 6/19/2012
Hi there, awesome story again! You really are such a talented writer, your stories are always very entertaining to read and well written.
I just loved the continuity in this story with the brothers saving each other from drowning and both ending up in the hospital. The banter between the boys really gave off that S1-S2 vibe, that I miss so much in the show nowadays. LOL at this scene: "Watch your step there, Sammy. You break a hip, they'll have to break into the dinosaur museum to find you a new one."
So, great job, as always and thank you for sharing it with your readers!

Well done! :)
| CeCe Away chapter 1 . 6/6/2012
This is so well-thought out and full of awesomeness. And both boys get a chance to save the other. Gotta love that.
| Jane88 chapter 1 . 6/4/2012
Finally had time to read this gem of a story. Brilliant! Thrilling from beginning to end. Very well-conceived, totally in character, lots of funny brotherly interactions and both boys getting drowned in one just story - wow! Especially loved Dean's whining about The Veggie Garden. And Sam bringing him pie and coffee in the end. "Call it self-preservation. Caffeine deprivation makes you crappy company." :D Goes right to my favorites! Thanks a lot, made my day!
