Lulutbo chapter 41 . 5/5/2024 What a cute story. I do agree with other reviews…it was sort of an abrupt oh we are over feeling but overall, enjoyed it! |

readicted chapter 41 . 9/14/2019 What can I say? This was such a sweet story. It was funny, pure, with a touch of melancholy and a hint of heat. It was easy to read and hard to put down. It laughed and swooned, and wagged my finger at their shenanigans. Thank you, thank you for sharing this very special little fic. It was just what my soul was yearning to read in this moment. I kept a diary too, I still have them packed. I started my journal just before my 13th birthday. It saw me through adolescence, my first love, my college days, and and like Bella, mine ended pretty abruptly, once I met and fell head over heels in love with my husband. This was a joy and will go on my favorites list. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. Thank you. |
readicted chapter 40 . 9/14/2019 Thank goodness Edward is thinking. He's right. They need to go back. And I like that Bella is able to verbalize that she's not ready. And I like that Edward feels ready to try college again. I just hope Charlie and Emmett don't attack Edward. |
readicted chapter 39 . 9/14/2019 I imagine she's pissed and angry, but she's also being over the top dramatic-so, essentially she reacted like a typical teenager. So no, she's not an adult. She's been playing an adult role though, with too many responsibilities and not being allowed to enjoy any age appropriate fun. Charlie is wrong, and if he was serious about Sue, and it sounds like this has been going on for a long time, he should've told the kids. I grew up with strict parents, and I too rebelled in a similarly over the top dramatic fashion, lol. Sigh. When Edward asked "Where are we going?" My very first and most prominent thought was "To jail!" Don't run with her Edward, because Charlie will see your over 18 a** locked up. I wish/hope she'd blow off some steam that night and then go home the next day and talk it all out. If she could calm down and think, this would be the time to insist that both she and Emmett are mature and responsible and they could insist-or lobby strongly for-more privileges. Behaving this way is only going to make things bad for Edward with both Charlie and Emmett, and maybe Edward's father. |
readicted chapter 38 . 9/14/2019 Ok so Emmett seems like he's slowly coming around. I guessed that Sue and Charlie might be getting it on, or talking at the very least. That was an uncomfortably awkward way for it to come out. LOL at Bella dropping the f-bomb. I just know Edward's going to come knocking on the door looking for her. Side note-I don't think I've ever had a pizza roll in my life. I don't know how that could be, but I just never partook. I think I have had a hot pocket or two though. I preferred potpies with top and bottom crusts. |
readicted chapter 26 . 9/14/2019 Why do I feel like Sue is peeping everything that is going on, and that she's either going to tell Charlie or warm Charlie up to the idea. |
readicted chapter 35 . 9/14/2019 Honestly I get why Edward had questions, but I think I would have been annoyed that he asked me so many questions before he answered mine. I may have allowed the expected why are you asking, where is this coming from question, but then he'd need to answer question before I answered any more of his. They were valid questions, it just seemed like he was hedging and probing to determine how he was going to respond. |
readicted chapter 34 . 9/14/2019 Oh boy. She just went for it, and over the phone. I think I would've opted for a less direct approach first, like Sooo, my brother said he saw you at a party last year...you were with Lauren Mallory... Each statement would end with an inflection that sounded more like a question than an statement, with a pause at the end to see if he'd fill in the silence. If he didn't, I guess then I'd ask if they ever dated or hooked-up. The did you sleep with her question would follow depending on his reaction/response and my courage. Edward is 19 and was away at college. He may be a virgin, but the likelihood is not great. But Bella is right, people do have pasts. And it would be unusual for a 19 year old guy that had been away to college to not have dated before. |
readicted chapter 33 . 9/14/2019 I figured Emmett kind of liked Alice when Bella described his uncharacteristic awkwardness when he came home to find her in their room and on his bed. Emmett saw something, but by his own admission, he left the party shortly after arriving. Anything could've or could NOT have happened. He's assuming, he could be right, or he could be very wrong. Although it sounds like pretty typical high school house party behavior. From the talk at school on Mondays, there seemed to be lots of tipsy make-out sessions and drunken hook-ups at those things. |
