My friends all knew they had to call me by 10pm.

I'm nervous for them. Why do I feel like it's only a short period of time until Charlie finds out. I think Emmett will stand up for her when that time comes, and it's surely coming. I feel tense from the anticipation and giddy with the excitement of new blossoming love.

You probably don't even read your reviews on this fic anymore, but I am really absolutely loving this story. And this chapter was so touching.

This chapter kind of hurt my heart because I completely understand and can empathize with Bella (especially since I had a very similar experience), but also because Emmett was not wrong. And he was trying to be a good brother.

That last paragraph is hilarious. Also, I wonder what's in her bookbag.

Oh boy. She didn't even have a chance to savor the bliss, poor thing. Edward either. That really stinks, but I figured Emmett would be livid. Maybe if she had told him, he wouldn't have freaked out like that. Maybe at first, but then when she explained how things were between them, maybe, just maybe, he'd come around. At least he didn't snitch, like my big brother once did to me. It was the worst! I snuck out to the movies with my boyfriend, when I was supposed to be staying at my girlfriend's house. My parents actuallycame to the theater looking for me (I hid, they never actually found me.) So very humiliating though and I got grounded for a long time. Never spoke to my brother's girlfriend again because she's the one who saw me and ratted me out to my brother. I'm still pissed decades later!

Ok, so Bella DOES have sense enough to know it was a kind of weird, creepy place to drag her off to on a second meeting, without at least knowing each other better. He's into Dracula and darker stuff, he's already mentioned that, so maybe he finds the cemetery peaceful or interesting. Or maybe he thought she'd liked to do something a bit creepy for Halloween. The kiss was the sweetest. I wonder how mad Emmett is going to be, because I think he knows. He gave her an opening to tell him. I think he would be protective, but empathetic. Surely he feels just as frustrated by their father's rules.

This is where my seventeen year old sensibilities diverge from Bella's. I'm not that trusting, nor brave. We could meet up, but I'm not riding off into some mystery place in the woods at night with some guy (or girl) that I barely know-no matter how hot.

My silly inner seventeen year old self just squee'd, lol.

I got a little choked up this chapter.

This chapter got me to thinking, and I *think* I only actually snuck OUT of the house once too, and it was under duress, lol. I went with guy because he wouldn't stop tapping on my window and leave. I was so afraid my parents would wake up. I was home on break from college, so probably about 20 years old! Still it was a big no-no in my house. I was so nervous and pissed off. I was no saint, but I was never as bold as my brothers. And I couldn't believe how bad they were at being stealthy.

Ah, the stellar communication skills of seventeen year old potential sweethearts.

Hello stumbled upon this fic while looking for another fic with a similar name. Read a couple of chapters out of curiosity and was so amused that I had to run and shared with my fic girls on RobAttack. I was in the middle of reading a long fic at the time, but made a note to hurry back as soon as I had the chance. I can tell I'm going to really enjoy this and I'm in need of a change in tone after the fic I just read.

Great wrap-up. How you went from so much unfinished business in ch 40 to complete one chapter later was amazing. Cue the happy tears. I loved it!
