wow. keeps getting better! Loki's almost manic fevour for Hermione joining him is very realistic; i enjoyed seeing that passionate part of him! can't wait to see how his POV plays out! please update soon!

Personally I think this chapter was great and while there was what could be termed as sappy moments, there were definitely serious issues that could be seen underneath. Besides, sappy is ok in fourth year - there is danger but Voldemort has yet to return. Can't wait for the next chapter, it'll be interesting seeing Loki's perspective and if its fifth year then we know loads happens.

P.S. love the banner, though when it gets a bit later and Hermione is older you might want to add a new one with an older image of her

Flirting is just what you think feels right. Go find a friend and have a fake flirting session if you want to see how it feels. My friends tease me and my girlfriend since we flirt/ argue all the time. Of course, we couldn't say that we really are, it seems like normal talking to us. Try that.

Love this story! It is really hard to write banter/flirting. You did a good job with it though

Striking. Hermione's leaps and bounds in terms of development weren't unbelievable. She's a fourteen year-old girl, six months (and basilisks and timeturners and exposure to a god) make for enormous changes. She's still Hermione at her heart, just not the buck-toothed book worm charicature that too often worms its way into the HPverse. (Thank you for that.) She's growing, and in the presence of someone who allows her to be anything she wants, it's wonderful.
