I loved this story. It was just wonderful. I kept reading on and on until I finished the book in just a few hours. Thank you for sharing this. I totally loved Steve and Tony, they were brilliant. Shed tears here and there but it's really beautiful.

Interesting beginning. I like canon, but also not canon can be fun. I haven’t read much Marvel fanfic yet, but I love me some Tony Stark so I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Perfect length actually, because, like Steve, I need to get some sleep. Character retrospectives don't have to have big events in every chapter.

Pepper's reaction was great. I like that even though they aren't going to end up together they can still read each other so well.

Though I do enjoy the stories where they jump into bed, it is nice to have one where it's a slow go and more realistic build up to the relationship. Steve's so sweet taking care of Tony. And hey, the wet dreams take care of the not jumping into bed right away.

Wow! Ok, just to get this out of the way, I think I am one of the very few people who actually LOVE Iron Man 2. I know it's not perfect...[I also LOVE Iron Man 3] I just love Tony Stark, ok? And to have Tony be the one to take Steve in immediately after waking up was perfect! Something I have been thinking about writing for a while. Steve seemed to fit flawlessly into the Iron Man 2 plot. I am a diehard Stony lover, this was literally a dream come true for me to read something so incredible and heartbreaking and sweet and full of action and angst...wow! I could go on and on about how amazing you are! I can't wait for the Nat/Pep sequel, that's a ship I have never read about before, but the way you write, made me adore it! And of course, love me some Deadpool, and Spider-Man...I am so excited for this sequel. I did not want this story to end! This was the perfect Stony fic for me! I am trash, and I love it! How Tony took care of Steve and vice versa...my heart just explodes. I could keep going on and dissect it scene by scene, but I'm just going to move on and read the next fic! I love your story, I love your writing, I love your ideas, I love your way with characters, I love you I just...you've just earned yourself a HUGE fan! Thank-you so much for this story. Just reviewing the final installment of your great series. I read all of them in pretty much one sitting. Stony is saving me from endgame sadness and I thank you for that.

And that looks like the next secret Steve will keep from Tony... Your writing is good and there is a nice plot going on that got me to read to the end but I think I'm going to refrain from reading the sequel as Steve and Tony's characters are a bit twisted.

Steve is a bit of a push over when Tony's being cruel in a way unlike his character. Tony can be that way to enemies but I don't think there are many universes that he's is cruel to the people he loves. Then Steve carries on about trust but has no problems with keeping important secrets from Tony himself (like a spy/assassin in his home getting close to Pepper). And now about Peter.

that was odd with Tony... why would he bring Steve into whether or not he is an official Avenger? He acted more petty than in cannon for that scene...

the 'unknown man' sounded like Deadpool... And really Steve lied to Tony too. He knowingly let an assassin into Tony's house without even bothering to warn Tony, that's low. Canonically MCU's Tony has trust issues (for good reason) and THAT would be a big violation of his trust.

He didn't really know Natasha at that point and really Tony would expect her to spy on him but Steve? He is supposed to be able to trust Steve (part of why I think CW was so heartbreaking), some people are just the last you expect to betray you.
