So, the brand new story... Could it be an extension of this one, with them moving in together? ;) While I was reading the part at the end on the ledge, Pontoon by Little Big Town was playing. Doesn't seem like a romantic song, but my mind joined the two, so Jane and Maura were on a boat on the sea during a sunset in France. Just wanted to put that mental image in your head ;)

As always, absolutely loved this chapter. This whole story is amazing. Thank you so much for writing it. Almost sad to be reading the last chapter, knowing there isn't any more after it.

So, Milkstress, I'm reading your masterpiece from beginning to end again since you've finally sealed it with a kiss. You already know I love it, so I won't embarrass myself by gushing prematurely. I just wanted you to know from the get-go that I have a one-shot idea for you that could stand as an "intersequel," a mini-shot masquerading as a dream sequence.

The idea genned while I was reading to my coed daughter the wonderfully mushy snippet of Jane conversing with an adorablly kissable Maura. Of course, I explained that there was no way Jane could have ever won sweetest camper award ... maybe Badass Junkyard Dog or Best Defensive Fort Builder or even Super Scout . Then we mused how Maura would have been named Sweetest Camper instead ... and winner of many other awards: Most Innovative Ecobuilder, Engineer Extraordinaire, Healthiest Outdoor Chef and Walking Wiki Woman.

Of course, they may need to meet across the veil of dreamscape in order to pull this idea off. Is your Scout Trooper interest has been sufficiently piqued? Care to pick up the gauntlet? Or am I just half baked? ;)

This is seriously the best post-ep Rizzles I've read. It was so seamless, so naturally progressive through not only their relationship but an actual crime plot as well. I'm off to read your other stories now.
