| SunWillRise2340 chapter 1 . 12/19/2013
I really like this fic. The kind of unstructuredness works well for Maize's character, and I like the three sections. And, I mean, who wouldn't crush on Cato (being a Cato fangirl myself, of course) and I like the way you brought it in, the fact that none of the girls could keep their eyes off him, the bit when she went up to them (I was honestly cringing for her, poor girl). Emmy's lecture is good, and so is Gram's disdain - the bit about the interviews was nice, and my god, I love the ending line 'I bet he didn't even remember my name the moment he slit my throat,' There's no theatrics, no drama, just this simple line and I love it because it is so true and moving, as well, because you really remember that, in all honesty, she's a poor, nameless girl from District Nine. Really great job. Can't wait to see what else you put up here.
