![]() ![]() ![]() This story looks great! This was my era and this is the first story I've found about it. Looking forward to more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aha! She is coming to her senses, that will be a loud thunder! Wonderful, always with the hint of tragedy underneath. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very, very unusual writing. Slightly hard to follow - but I'm determined to. I liked the end. Now I get a feeling for what Bella is about. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's so great to have another story from you & so soon after your last one. I love your writing. I love how you create a sense of place. Just wonderfully done. Annette |
![]() ![]() ![]() Can't wait to see what's really going on with Edward and Bella, or what had gone on. Bella sure has her hands full, esp. with her mom. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I can feel her swoons from here. That whisper of his name. Oh my! Things will be interesting since he's working for her dad. Lovely chapter. XO |
![]() ![]() ![]() Her dad is not a nice guy? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Mama is crazy poor girl |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing. But, oh feck. The war. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it :) |
![]() ![]() Edward lookin like Elvis at his 1960-70ish side-burned gorgeous best in Tennessee? WOW! Got me hooked again Counselor! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Would you send Edward to Nam? |

![]() ![]() ![]() I love love love this story. Growing up with a loved one who suffers from mental illness us hard enough. Add in a volatile marriage and it only makes things worse. I have a feeling that Renee is bipolar. Back then the solution was to put mentally ill patients in the 'nut house' or prescribe medicine that most of the time made things worse. I am extremely interested to see how things play out here. Either way, I'm all in! I am also eager to see how Bella and Edward's friendship got to be where it is today and how or if they can ever get it back. Once again I am looking forward to the next chapter. From the edge of my seat, Deborah |
![]() ![]() ![]() Low numbers and Vietnam...brings back memories. The shop...great imagery...could actually smell it. Black haired Edward threw me a bit. Made me picture an Elvis from that time. |
