To format your poem, go into Document Manager. Leave the double-spacing between stanzas alone, but delete all the spaces between lines within a stanza. Now put them back by clicking Shift Enter at the end of every line to give single-spacing. (This instruction actually appears just under the editing frame in Document Manager, BTW, but I've noticed that it often passes unnoticed.)
Save the changes, and re-read what you've edited to make sure all your changes went through. Repeat the process for any that didn't. Now return to Manage Stories and use the Replace/Update Chapter function.
