Great job. Sakura's fight with Sasuke was very well done. I was impressed with how she was able to injure and hold off Sasuke with the basic jutsu she knew.

I was surprised that she angered Sasuke enough for him to use the Chidori against her, although I do hope he gets punished for using that technique against a team-mate.

With the amount of trouble it took for him to defeat Sakura, I can only see that fight convincing Sasuke even more to leave the village for Orochimaru.

I also really liked how Sakura held off the sound ninja that were chasing after her team. You have been doing a very good job at making Sakura a force to be reckoned with by using her brain more than fancy jutsu.

I look forward to reading more.

Intense. I love it! I love seeing her progression and how you still follow the original but with its quirks. It's awesome and I can't wait for more updates!

This is turning out to be an excellent story. I really like your view of how things could have progressed had Sakura won her match against Ino.

I wonder how Sakura will react if it is revealed that Kabuto is a spy and a traitor. I have a feeling that if Sakura does find out that she is going to have a very bad reaction to it. Right before the chapter ended he said that if Sakura was a monster then so was he. So if she sees him as a monster then she may think that she is a monster as well.

I also liked your idea for the medical chakra ball Sakura used against Dosu. The affects on Dosu and the side-effects on Sakura were veery good ideas.

totally enjoying this story man

This is just wonderful. The basic training has always been overshadowed by learning the Chidori or Rasengan in the canon. It somehow makes this story more alive and more realistic to the handwork that Sakura puts in because she is not a genius like Sasuke nor is she like Naruto. Its hard to express what I want to say, haha. But bottom line, I like how and where it's going so far. I also like how you implement the medical chakra in her fight with Dosu. I actually thought that she might form a chakra scalpel or something pointy in the heat of the moment. But taking what she learnt and actually using it is quite exciting, I otta say! It just gets even more interesting from here on out now that she's drawn first blood and how the rest of the exam changes!

I'm really enjoying the way you are making Sakura more powerful by building on what is already there, but aren't making her the only one who can improvise, and having her still make mistakes. Often, once a character decides to "get serious" he/she is the only one who improves, and I'm glad that you've averted that.

This story is lovely! It's a shame you have so few reviews, but keep up with the good work! Just pay attention to grammar mistakes, like: ''what possible downside could htere be to honing her chakra control?''...

Aah. That's upsetting to know, but at least (from the looks of it, anyways) she'll always remember every death through that monument of hers, right?
