| Tiigerliily chapter 6 . 8/7/2012
Amazing chapter! :D
I love how Brian thought Willy's workshed was meant to be the actual house! :P I remember not knowing how to smash the thing and send the builder away the first time I played VP. XD The way you described the house from the inside is great though, for some reason I liked the fruitbowl in particular! :P
Brian's passion for art makes him an interesting character, even among the already colorful cast of Islanders. I'm looking forward to 'get to know' him better, I'd also like to 'see' what kind of painting style he has! :D
I like your 'nice' version of Jardineiro. Most people on here (including I!) write him as a jerk! :P I wish Brian the best of luck with his garden though, he's going to need it, hehe! :P
Oh, by the way, even though I loved this chapter a lot, there's one weird thing to it. The final part is all in italics, even when it's not a flashback or anything like that...

Oh, I should have known it was just the little shed :P I am so slow at catching those kinds of things.
Anyway, I really love how much Brian misses his girlfriend. It's so sweet and adorable!
And Elizabeth... Well... people like her irritate me, so that's all I'm going to say about it :P I'm with Brian on this one.
Anyway... I hope Brian has fun with his new garden! This is simply wonderful, and I really hope you update really soon :D
| Suki Takayoshi chapter 5 . 8/1/2012
:D Wow, a history lesson I actually enjoyed!
This background story for the masks was phenomenal, oh my goodness. It was very engaging and very interesting, and very creative :D
Oh and one last thing... his house sounds very interesting. I had to say that.
| Suki Takayoshi chapter 4 . 8/1/2012
Brian is an artist? ... I am in love with your character :D I have a thing for artists...
Anywho, I am really loving how you envision the island. Yours is very... um... cut-off I guess. Not that it's a bad thing! It makes it very interesting, especially since Epic and I have more modern-like visions :)
Ah, so the job of the Gardener begins. Don't worry Brian- it's much more fun then it sounds :D
| Suki Takayoshi chapter 3 . 8/1/2012
Oh, so there is no savages. xD Oh well!
Oh Arfur and Willy... even as adults they are such pranksters! xD But I have to agree with Jardiniero (which I normally don't do) I wouldn't really play a joke on a poor castaway in the middle of the night xD
Anyway, the other stuff...
I really am in love with your descriptions. I love the way you described Jardiniero's mask. My typical description would be "Cranky old man in a wheelchair" but that wouldn't exactly work since he was knocked out of the wheelchair. Um... yeah...
| Suki Takayoshi chapter 2 . 8/1/2012
Again, I am amazed by your writing.
What I love most is how Brian continues to go back to what his life was before he landed on the beach, and the idea of savages on the island... I don't know else to say but that it is something I never would have thought of.
Very, very interesting so far :D I am completely hooked.
| Suki Takayoshi chapter 1 . 8/1/2012
Wow. I am so speechless right now.
I am very jealous. You have a wonderful talent for description, and I am immediately hooked!

Ahh, so so so good! I love how sentimental Brian is about his girlfriend...and how invasive Elizabeth is! I REALLY feel like I shouldn't, but I really like Elizabeth now! :D
Your description is absolutely phenomenal and I love all of the emotions Brian is feeling in the face of all of these new experiences. I can't WAIT to see how he reacts to inheriting the garden...and how he reacts when he meets all of Jardiniero's children! I'm so fond of the characters in VP and I know you'll write all of them amazingly! SO EXCITED for more!

Oops, just felt the need to point out, the last reviewer was me. _;

AMAZING work! It's AWESOME to read a story where the author's vision of the Island is so different than mine! I love your backstory on the mask wearing, and I'm really starting to love Brian as a character! Looking forward to more, you awesome writer! :D
| Tiigerliily chapter 5 . 7/1/2012
Amazing chapter, as always.
I your version of Piñata Island's history, I think it's the most realistic one in the entire VP section on here. Your explanation of the whole masks thing is great too - everything in this story seems well-thought and fitting! :D
| Epic Laughter chapter 4 . 6/29/2012
Ahhh, it's always interesting to see how different people envision the Island! Your backwards, cut-off version of the Island is super interesting, very different from the modernized Island I write about! :D Looking forward to more! Update soon
| Tiigerliily chapter 4 . 6/29/2012
Things are getting better and better! :D
I like how you kept in mind all the practical stuff Brian's supposed to arrange now that he's a new inhabitant of the Island, like getting a house and a job. Jardineiro's friendly demeanor in your fanverse is great too! :D How he explains everything about the Island to Brian is just priceless! :P
Such a thing as the Sorting Festival is an amazing idea, just like the school system you've made up for the Island. Please keep up the great work and update soon! :P

Yesss, so nice to see how you write the characters! I love the idea of the older men messing with Brian! That's HILARIOUS, hehe! Looking forward to his reaction to wearing a mask
Also looking forward to seeing how he gets along with the other people on Pinata Island! You're doing an absolutely FABULOUS job; I'm SO EXCITED for more!
