![]() ![]() I can honestly say I’ve never read a piece of fan fiction this beautifully written. Everything was amazing; characters, plot, dialogue, descriptions. I’m stunned |
![]() ![]() Well done, that was a captivating read! |
![]() ![]() You are a really talented writer. Out of all the fanfics I've read, this one is by far the best. It'd be awesome if you made a sequel to this. thank you so much for writing such beautiful art. |
![]() ![]() i really like this Story and pairing and how it was build and things did change ope there will be many more Storys like this and maybe even crossover storys |
![]() ![]() ![]() Favorited on the prologue. Great writing that gets better as the story moves forward, a frustrating but very relatable Wendy, and a thorough grasp of the original work that really shines through this fic. I absolutely loved it. Brava to the author! |
![]() ![]() I’m loving this so far! I love how terrified she is but yet so brave. Has hope but has doubt. Wendy is a smart girl, and of course everyone underestimates a lady |
![]() ![]() ![]() Such a wonderful story. Sometimes i get so tired of reading the same thing written in different ways that I almost give up on it. Then I stumble across a story like this, and I am renewed. This story was my version of binge watching a netflix show. I couldn't put it down. Your vocabulary is immense and your descriptive words weave together a wonderfully imaginative tale. I believed the build up, the characters were deep and interesting, and the connection between Hook and Wendy made my heart flutter. You have good pacing and an amazing writing style. I hope that you write works of your own, and if you do please send me a link to where I could buy a copy of any book you have written so I can get it immediately! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am not done with the prologue, but I have already favorited this story. Your writing is so extremely beautiful. I cannot wait to read more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Absolutely beautiful. My inner romantic is quiet pleased. Thank you for sharing such a touching piece. Bests, S.B. |
![]() ![]() I have not read such enchanting literature in a long time. You clearly expressed everything that was important and there was nothing in excess. This flowed smoothly and the grammar was great. Honestly, this was a very believable plot. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I tend to have a love hate relationship with the more poetic styles of writing I come across, which is part of the reason I’ve not been able to complete many of the classics. I think it’s beautiful, and inspires a very rich reading experience, the descriptions of emotions and settings bring forth much more visceral reactions from me than the more matter of fact style a lot of modern writers use. Used to describe one’s thinking process, however, usually has me irritated before long, because I find poetic writing to be so emotion filled that logic and critical thinking (two things I value) don’t bear up so well in description. Admittedly had this story been too much longer I may have found myself falling into that same annoyance, and there were definitely times in which Wendy’s temperamental decision making process, flighty conclusions, and inability to understand herself until the very end did cause me some frustration. Nevertheless, I still found your use of language and imagery to be stunning. I’m not keen on romance tales, but I did enjoy this one. I especially liked your enterpretation of Peter, something darker and yet still so innocent, neither good nor bad because he was a child. The sex in this story wasn’t crass and I’m really impressed at the way you didn’t skip over it at all, but didn’t write anything approaching smut. The slow unveiling of Hook’s character through Wendy’s distinctly feminine and biased eyes was very well done, and I also really appreciate the way you depicted the stifling London life turning someone so adventure prone and free spirited as Wendy into someone stiff, cold, haughty and proud, and her struggle to regain that. So yes, sometimes I did find myself a little annoyed that Wendy kept on seeming to come to realisations and then five minutes later double back on herself, and have to make other similar realisations all over again, nonetheless overall I think this is one of the best romance stories I’ve come across, and I don’t think I’ve read any fan fiction writer capable of using descriptive language quite to the same potency and effect that I’ve read here. Well done! |
![]() ![]() So beautiful! |
![]() ![]() Ug. This is amazing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() absolutely beautiful. though I admit I'm curious what happens when she never goes back home. or where the reality is she actually fell off the balcony and died and Neverland is just her afterlife. anyway, I can't really find the right words to convey how much I loved this. I had similar feelings when I was 19 and fell in love with my first husband, who was an amazing man with demons he couldn't quite escape. he ended up passing away when I was 22 and pregnant with our second daughter, and I had to forge ahead on my own. I don't think you ever really stop missing love that was passionate, you just eventually realize that you can't force it to happen again and cherish what you had... |
