Aw, this was so sweet and lovely! Beautifully done!

This is my most favorite scene - out of all the Downton stories I have read (and I think I read most of them posted here on ) The scene plays like a movie, and you have captured M/M so brilliantly. (I also love your modern 72hrs, and am a huge fan of your other M/M stories). Whenever I had a tough day at work, I come back to this precious chapter, and it always brings a smile to my face.

I remember seeing that gif on Tumblr, it was so beautiful and could've easily been our M/M. I'm so glad you decided to write this, it's so them, so much passion and love and longing for the other. I liked the little joke about Mrs Crawley and how Matthew could never call Mary that, because she's not, and he wouldn't want her to be any different.

Just when I had myself convinced Matthew couldn't be any more of a wonderful charming romantic ...poof I am proved wrong! The faceless "Mrs. Crawley" oh that dear boy. I really laughed myself silly when he said he couldn't vocalize it because this faceless wife had the same name as his mother! Very sweet that Mary called him "Mr. Crawley" as a nod to this. Absolutely what I a good fic about these two characters should provide thanks for sharing!
