I couldn't help reading this story once I started, even though I saw from other reviews that it was left incomplete. It's such a neat and different take on the story of Chuck and Sarah, that keeps so much of what makes it great. I really enjoyed the different setting and adjustments to the plot and characters you made. If you ever return to it, I'll definitely be reading and reviewing along.

An enjoyable read, wish there was more to it.

I forgot to mention in my last review, I also found the introduction of Lester and Jeff to be so canon parallel and hilarious.
So now we see that Casey is setting up well and Sarah a little overwhelmed with the type of flying and Bryce creeping in. What is in store for the next chapter? Unfortunately, I have to get to work and will return this evening.

Well, couple of things. I had to go run an errand yesterday and picked up your story on my phone then and last night and I am on chapter 8. It has been riveting and I have been zipping through the chapters like a ravenous pig. Very selfish indeed. I got the biggest kick out of the use of the phrase Semper Gumby. It has been a favorite of mine for some time and to hear it from another was kind of cool. I am totally digging the descriptions of the different aircraft as well and phraseology while flying. Well done. I also like the fact that you have Chuck with a bit of intrigue and mystery as well as a bit of an attitude to stand up for himself. It so fits with the how you have painted him into this AU. I also like the internal dialog of Sarah's struggles with her feelings towards Chuck. It does seem to make her a little weaker in my view, but a little more real than in canon. I appreciate that as well. Finally, Casey, he seems to have a little more respect for Chuck after being double tapped in the chest with Chuck's 1911, however, I think that a little more should have been made of some broken ribs or something. A 45 caliber projectile and at close range is nothing to be trifled with and carries a huge impact. I'm not sure where you are going with the story, but the whole Ellie, Devon and Casey thing is uncomfortable for me. It almost seemed like Ellie liked Casey over her boyfriend Devon or at least had eyes for him. But alas, this seems to be a Charah story and as long as that is the case, I am good. LOL! Love the story.

I got this tip about this story from Nevr. Dang I am surprised I haven't found this before now. I love Chuck (mostly Sarah!), Flying and planes and agriculture, more horticulture than the former. Loving it so far. Looks like an older story, it doesn't say so, but I truly hopes it's finished. At least I will get to enjoy a few chapters anyway with my 3 favorite things.

Is this story ever going to be finished.

I don't really like to leave "negative" reviews, but do think it fair to warn other readings about incomplete stories.

Frankly, there is nothing negative to say about this story. The premise is a really cool total AU. It set up a lot of mysteries and Big Plot Points, and some of those were slowly being explained and discovered. The writing is done really well, and dialogue flows naturally.

The only issue is that it does stop abruptly. If you like the story, you are going to be sad when it stops because there are so many unanswered questions and things are just starting to heat up. Also Charah isn't really given time to truly flourish based on what happens in the plot and where things stop. For that reason, its hard to recommend the story as is. With no updates to this story for 7 years (and no updates to the author page in 6 years) it seems unlikely to ever be finished, but I do hope the author is doing well.

This is a fantastic alternative Chuck story, one of the best. Really sad that you stopped updating it. I’ve really enjoyed all your stories, but like this the most.
Lots of things so good here. A confident, strong Chuck, at least in his ‘normal’ life, is so refreshing. And Sarah falling for him so quickly, and acknowledging it great too. Earning Casey’s respect so quickly was impressive. I also liked Chuck flashing on Sarah, unlike in the show, and therefore knowing about her life, Bryce etc so quickly.
Altogether perfect, apart from the fact you stopped! Would be great if you could restart again, but thanks for what you’ve do so far.

Damn shame this fic was never finished. It was well written, has an engaging storyline and I love the way you wrote Chuck. He's def seems to be smarter and more competent than the canon version, while still remaining the shy/lovable nerd we are all used to. While I doubt this story will ever be finished, I do hope one day your muse will return to you and you will get a chance to come back to this incredible story. Till then...thanks for giving us what you have already written and Great Job!
