|Reviews for Drop in Reality|
| JPElles chapter 6 . 9/25/2013
As the story goes on i'm sure reviews will pick up. It has been a bit. I know I check in with certain things only once every couple months. And frequently with it set to 20k or 40k only stories.
I do love the story. Ron who comes into his own is always great. And getting out of Kim's Shadow is always great. And I've always loved Shego.
I remember one episode Shego melted this huge thick wall safe/vault by just waving her hand at it. I think that's the moment it fully clicked with me that Shego wasn't evil at all. Just bored, and wanting some money or something. With her plasma/fire that strong she could do a crazy amount more damage than she actually does after all.

I'm torn here. I kind of like the idea of Drakken saving Shego, especially with that speech, but I highly suspect that was just Shego using the shapeshifting.
I like Drakken and Shego, either romantically or as twisted friends/family, but Shego's disdain for Drakken has been so prominent in this story that it would make Drakken look like kind of a chump for saving her here. Then again, if he did save her, maybe she wouldn't look down on him so much.
Either way, it's going to be interesting.
As for reviews, I will explain why I was a bit wary. Evil Kim is... a bit over the top. I don't get why she would want to destroy the world. I get why she would want to challenge Zorpox, but she's so casually cruel and destructive, I really am not clicking with her as a villain. Having Helen her made this a much better conflict because I get why Helen is fighting Shego and in the previous chapter, I got why Shego was fighting Kim. But... I really don't get evil Kim at all.

Secrets that hid just in the periphery can kill if allowed. Glad Drakken was able to make it to his 'crushes' senses...
Now to see how this runs from here.
After Shego recovers and Ron catches up to her.
But I'm afraid Kim will not allow herself to be redeemed if she can be returned to herself.

Listen, I don't really consider myself an expert or a veteran but you shouldn't write for the sake of getting reviews. It natural that people will shy away from something that goes away from cannon, but that is the point of fan fiction, to go off tangents not normally explored.
I like this story because you have Evil Kim on one side and Evil Ron & Shego on the other, world is screwed either way but Ron is the more dangerous of the two as he has vision while Kim is only doing it for thrills, it doesn't make her any less dangerous but it makes her overestimate herself when she shouldn't around Ron.

keep it up

Interesting developments. Interesting new characters even if this is the first and maybe only chapter they will be in. I wouldnt mind them becoming recurring.
Definetly curious how exactly Ron will form his company as far as the structure and staffing of it. If you will even go into any of those details.
Like the bits there with Drakken being surprised/puzzled to see Shego. Good subtle reference. Keep it up. Love the story.

Love the twist with harold at the end.

Before this is over I think Kim's going to have personality issues, from the 'switch' that gets flipped from good to bad...
A little strange this mission was, but from how it ended up, I think Ron's plot is almost ready.

Curious what Evil Kim did exactly. She should be able to counter what Wade and good her come up with, but who knows. They are the same person after all. Normal Kim may surprise her. Curious whats in store on that front. Especially if Ron gets involved on that whole front.
Like Shego's suit. Interesting. Teasing some of Shego's abilities is interesting. Curious what she and Ron will get up too with them. Lots of things building here. And still a lot of characters that could potentially still enter the fray. Keep it up.
Senior Senior I dont think should be counted out totally. He is a bored ultra rich. Who in his youth was proven to be an athlete and a genius business man. Basically a master of all he attempted. I'm sure if/once he catches wind of whats going on he'll be more than intrigued.

Kim's caught in a very tragic Catch-22 here. And Evil Kimmie's got all the cards, she's just playing them as it suits her.
Ron and Shego seem to be making ground, but I wonder if either, or both will have to take Evil Kim down, with extreme prejudice when this comes to a close.
Because Evil Kim won't cut anyone any slack, at least Ron/Zorpox may not go that far. Even so, I think he's got fail-safes in Shego's situation to protect him from that too.
| JPElles chapter 3 . 10/8/2012
Even in the episodes before Ron got zapped with the monkey power he had flashes of extreme competency with fighting. So ya. Love the story.
Like how Ron handled Senior and Shego. Well done. Thought Junior was spot on with his weirdness.
Bringing back mentions of operation Gerkin was great stuff. And Ron's write on that.
Kim is a bit like Batman. When someone's better than her she gets obsessive and crazy until she finds a way to come out on top. About as competitive as you can get. Shego while very similiar to Kim is also different. She was formerly the glue that held Team Go and her family together. And she was shown very clearly to be the best fighter, planner et al. among her family.
Interested to see where you keep going with this. Very interesting story.

Excellent story. Looking forward to see what Ron does to upgrade Shego. Hope to see more soon.

So Ron's begun building a base from which he can take Kim on and I hope it's going to be enough. Ron, in this persona, does think several jumps ahead, but Kim's the master of a plan, articulate or in general, but her improvisation skills may be more than Ron and Shego can overcome.
And while Ron is adverse to killing, it seems that this unrestrained Kim is not and in order to win, if either, neither or both, cannot be returned to their previous mental frequencies, he may have to kill her. Something Shego may have a problem with, but remember, Kim would not.
And it's chute, from parachute; shoot means..not that. LOL!
