| Homicide.and.Suicide.777 chapter 1 . 10/10/2016
Great story. Poor Tony's so fucked up. I like how patient and calm Steve is in this.

Very nicely done. This scene felt very real and in character the whole way through. Very emotional too.

| SqueeFreak chapter 1 . 5/10/2013
I love it! It's so full of feeling! And I really love how you kept both Tony and Steve in character with this. I've read quite a few stories where the authors turn Tony into this whimpering "hold me please!" mess and, even if that's how he might feel on the inside, I don't think he'd show it. I think it would go a lot like your story, if not exactly like it. XD
| BlatantBookworm chapter 1 . 1/4/2013
It's a great story! Utterly in character.
Steve shrugs. "I assumed you didn't want to be coddled, but if that's what you want, I can shift gears."
| Rika100 chapter 1 . 10/15/2012
Wow... very sad story, I like it though.
| Crystal M. Key chapter 1 . 10/1/2012
This was touching, and just /good/. Thank you. Favorite part:
Tony gets up, and Steve intercepts him before he can reach the coffee machine. Tony's eyes narrow at the obstruction, but Steve stands his ground.
"Why don't we lie down," Steve says. "We can go to the living room, put on a movie. You don't have to sleep, but the caffeine will mess with you."
It's a sign of how utterly exhausted Tony is that he doesn't protest. He lets Steve lead him out of the kitchen and into the living room. His personality flares back up again as Steve lies down on the couch and motions for Tony to lie down on top of him.
"Ah, I see," Tony says. "This is all an excuse to feel me up."
"You know me," Steve says. "I'm all about taking advantage of people."
"I knew you couldn't be good all the time." Tony lies down anyways, his head resting on Steve's chest.

Beautiful. I love it.
As much as I like slash, I'm really glad you didn't write it here. It would have spoiled the story. Sometimes great friendship is the way to go.
