Revisited this fic after many years—it’s just as wonderful as the first time I read it. I love its absurdist, irreverent qualities, just as much as I love the solemn and melancholic moments—but it’s the way you write these deeply flawed yet deeply human characters that makes me go back again and again, despite having left the fandom a long time ago.

At its heart, I see this work as a very tender, very grounded coming-of-age story, with brilliant characterisations and compelling relationship dynamics.

I know it’s unlikely you’ll see this review, but I wanted to thank you for creating and sharing this beautiful work.

Im pretty sure it was his hat that wasn't stupid. I might be wrong though.

I just remembered today that I hadn't finished reading this fic, so I decided I would and I'm very glad i did; this story was great! Don't be so hard on yourself saying it went nowhere, this fic had me smiling and laughing throughout and I thought the plot was pretty good.

I hope you write some more south park fanfiction, you are a superb writer!

Really liked the ending og this story, but still misses a epilogue :/ What happens between Stan and Kyle now!? Will it turn out okey? But hey, that's just your point with ending, to have an somewhat open ending. Anywas I really enjoyed to read your story, hope to see more multi-chaptered stories from you soon :)

Background story here, I avoided this like tha plague for a while, mainly due to fear of the title having some nasty subtext. But that's me playing Kenny.

So it being complete made me go "Alright..." and... I know you say you should have jacked it in a dozen chapters ago, I think you could have gone for a dozen more. A confusion phase, fallout from Wendy. Before everything solidifies. You know? I mean, Kyle's change of heart seemed a bit sudden, there's going to be an awkward phase.

And I wanted to see what was on Stan's floppy discs. WHAT WAS ON THE FLOPPY DISCS?

Aaanyway, this was all good. Not driven absolutely into the mother fucking ground, but not too short either. Whoop de fucking doo. Do write again. With a title that doesn't double as bad innuendo. That puts me off.

But I love it¡ Was really interesting to see this from Kyle's point of view and share his confusion with him

I still think the italics were out of control and the cop out chapter lengths seemed like this weird ploy to get the maximum amount of reviews, but I'm glad you finished this and I hope you'll write more in this fandom. I think it would take a true master of romance fiction to make a kiss worthy of 26 chapters of buildup - I certainly couldn't do it, and I think you'd have to be very forgiving to have enjoyed this pace of romantic progress without much else going on, plot wise, and stuck with it from the start.

That said, I'd initially followed you because I loved 'Alright This One's For All the Marbles' and followed this fic because I loved the potential of the floppy disk premise - what annoys me about this is stuff like Kenny flashing people in the park - it's a really odd and pointlessly sarcastic choice based on his character from the show. I get that he likes sex, but he's never ever characterized as that type of predator, nowhere close. I'm being a dick in terms of the normal feedback level here, but it's because I think you could be a good author if you really cared about doing so and I can't tell if you do? But obviously you've got something going on that interests me, and good luck to you in the future.
