I love the way you characterize Ron-not as a bumbling idiot or a perfect Prince Charming (both of which I've seen done on this site), but just Ron, a human who made mistakes and grew.

I love how you explored his development and of course, his relationship with Hermione. Love all the Hermione moments, and all the other rest of the fic too, of course.

So good. I liked the conversation Ron had with each of his siblings, especially George. And Ron confiding in Hermione about what happened while destroying the locket Horcrux - he really grew up in that moment.

This is just all kinds of amazing. I love Ron when he is half-way to mature and you wrote it so well.

Finally! Someone else who thinks that Ron is as to blame for leaving as Ginny is for opening the chamber. Yes, he wasn't actually possessed but his crimes didn't stretch to attempted murder either.

Percy and Charlie were probably my favourites. I don't think I've seen many fics that have Charlie feel bad for not being there and Percy feeling inadequate compared to Ron was so well done - you even gave him a bit of Weasley awkwardness.

Best bit was the end though. Nice touch not mentioning their names. You've got them so in character that you don't really need them.

This is great! I love your stories and your characterization of Ron because it feels so much more like snippets of real life than most of the stories I've read. I really enjoy your dialogue and your creativity, even when you are addressing their daily actions and habits. I just found this story and literally went through and read everything else you had posted and will definitely looking forward to further stories!

There aren't words to describe how much I love this story. It's absolutely perfect. And original, too, which is a compliment in its own way, what with the sheer number of stories out there.

PS: What an potent antidote to all the Ron-bashing stories out there!
