Good
RFTL80 chapter 4 . 10/16/2017
As the story is marked complete, I guess this might be irrelevant, but I loved the hints about who the voices are. The phoenix was a omen of great import for the Ancient Egyptians. It was said a phoenix only showed up at the start of the reign of a significant pharaoh. Ramses II was one such pharaoh as some myths tell. Really liking this story so far.

Not even Dumbles knows Ginny's name? It's a shame.

well strange ride.
Reader-anonymous-writer chapter 11 . 7/16/2017
Harry, it's not Ron's fault that Ron doesn't know about Harry's nightmares. It's not Ron's or Harry's fault that Potters are richer than Weasleys. It's not Harry's or Ron's fault that the Order of Phoenix decided to grace Harry with their presence, or that the girls are flirting so. Ron shouldn't be so defensive about his lack of social skills, though.
Reader-anonymous-writer chapter 9 . 7/16/2017
Draco-bashing is annoying. It wasn't necessary at all to increase weight of the blade... Even if he probably should have noticed, and feather-ed the blade to counter its "weight".
Reader-anonymous-writer chapter 8 . 7/16/2017
What is this about black robes? Lord Voldemort, then Severus Snape, now Harry?
And, I like basilisk, not phoenix. No need for phoenix to ever-win. Not that Voldemort is in proper state of mind to be the Basilisk.
Reader-anonymous-writer chapter 6 . 7/16/2017
I think you are making up Potions ingredients on the go. Executioner's Hood? Could be an obscure flower. Daemon Bone? Chalk it up to Gellert and his demon rituals. Vampire blood? Difficult to obtain (unless Vampire donates it willingly?). Volcanic Ash? Tedious. Pegasus, ask French? But, blue tipped feather? What does the colour matter?..
"Ignis Fatuus Ad Infinitum!" is confusing. To wisp endless? When there are six "clones"-illusions? There should be a number somewhere, instead of infinity. Unless words are actually distraction from non-verbal , his illusions better be for ears and nose, too, not only eyes, because Severus Snape, while not a werewolf (or a vampire), is not a fool either.
No need to shout the incantations. And these clones are definitely worse than Naruto's clones, in the sense that they don't act and fight on their own. They make for a magnificent, living barrier, though; getting curses from A to B is difficult.
Does Harry have Kyuubi or something to explain his large magic reserves? Clone-illusions, and a shield-against-everything-magical. I would think that Severus Snape has poisoned darts somewhere, they would have gotten through the shield (being physical objects...). Granted, he would need to find Harry, first. But then, since Harry-clones aren't solid, and multiply only upon being hit with magic... Physical projectiles (daggers, darts, arrows) would nicely scratch the real Harry, even if thrown at random - just throw lots of them.
Potions Master, and Death Eater in addition, would have known poisons and ways to deliver them.
Note to myself: when casting a curse, beprepared to possibility of it reflecting. Aka, cast it at a weird angle, be prepared to duck, and protect yourself with a reflecting shield.
Sorry for mentioning Naruto universe regularly; Kyuubi is the nine-tailed fox from Naruto, reason why Naruto is a power-house.
Professor Flitwick, what took you so long, if you know how to remove the illusions?.. Or were you going through a long list of various clone counters?
If simple Finite was enough to remove allcurses, surely the combatants could have helped each other out? Unless the clones got in the way? But then, Professor Snape can fly...
In short: I am a fan of Professor Snape, and given his vow to protect Lily's son, he should have brought the fighting to closure asap, if only to make sure that Harry doesn't get killed (by either Slytherins' malice, Ravenclaws' knowledge, or just magic-exhaustion). Continuing to cast curses when it's obvious that they dispel a clone (and replace it with two others) is ... not clever. Physical projectiles were obviously called for (even if taking flight above the battlefield would have been too much of a show off). To the point that nets could have been conjured across the battlefield, to limit movements of real Harry, to cage him into one corner (even if only temporarily).

NickNack chapter 20 . 6/1/2017
The battle was great but I think that it should have included a lot more of what others were doing during the battle. After all Harry has been training an army and they basically just stood by while Harry did all the fighting.
Nicknack chapter 18 . 6/1/2017
I am enjoying your story so much! Well written! Nicely done. I'm curious how coordination works in the wizarding world without communication devices? Wizarding equivelent of communication devices?
RAVENCLAWDISTRICT1 chapter 18 . 5/20/2017
