Well, at least Merlin and Gaius suspect the right person, and will probably be more careful about future assassination attempts. And Merlin did get a lot of visitors, so that's always nice. It looks like Merlin's on his way to a recovery, and I sure hope Arthur realizes that his evil uncle is responsible. |

And Arthur would have a reason to trust it, too. I love that you gave the light attitude, too. Nice touch. Ah! Merlin isn't breathing?! But at least Arthur is here now, so he should be close to getting medical attention. |
| mockingbird13 chapter 1 . 7/20/2018 Oh no! Poor Merlin! Also, good job coming up with a good "accidental death" idea for Agravaine to use. I think taking Merlin's jacket and scarf might come back to bite Agravaine. I know I'd be a little suspicious if he was found without those. Plus, if he doesn't die (and I really hope he doesn't!) then Merlin might be able to identify him as his attacker...although he was struck from behind. Anyway, I'll find out as I read more! |
