What a great chapter!

I would be extremely disturbed to wake up and have someone tell me they've cut something out of my neck FOUR times while I was passed out... but Merlin seems to take it all in stride... I'm not quite sure that's a good thing.

The physician sighed and reached into the pockets of his green robe. "Then take this, it will clear your exhaustion for awhile."

Merlin smiled indulgently. "I'm not falling for that, Gaius."

Haha! Nice try Gaius! But there's no stopping a Merlin on a mission. lol

I love how everyone is suspicious of Agravaine now and I sincerely hope that something less then desirable happens to him. He deserves it.

I hope Merlin is going to be okay because I don't think he's out of the woods yet.

Well, I didn't expect that Morgana confrontation to be pretty much the same as canon, I kind of expected a confrontation between Morgana and Arthur, with Merlin jumping in. It'd be interesting to see how Merlin explains away the dead fomorrah.

Merlin is awesome! I have no idea what is going to happen now that we have no femorrah, and we have Merlin, Morgana, Arthur and Agravaine, plus the knights all wandering around in the forest. Should be interesting at least! :D

Nooo! Evil Agravaine is off on his own now. Dang it. But at least Merlin destroyed the snake. I'm hoping Arthur or Gwaine or someone will find unconscious!Merlin.

Great chapter! I liked how you described Merlin's exhaustion and pain and all that after defeating Morgana. I wonder if Arthur and the knights will stumble upon him out here, though... ;)
Just one thing I wanted to point out: A couple of times in this chapter (and maybe before, I can't remember) you wrote "past" when it should have been "passed". I just wanted to let you know. ;)

This story has an interesting premise! I think I like it so far :)

Nothing much happened in this chapter? Are you crazy! We got some awesome Arthur fury, some wicked Gwaine interaction ,some clever Gwen stuff and worried and caring and protecting Gaius, nasty Agravaine and Morgana and the best of all a tiny moment of Merlin awaking!

This chapter was brilliant. I loved how Arthur started to freak out as he explained but that he really started to go into a panic when he spoke aobut Merlin trying to kill himself and asking Arthur to kill him so he wouldn't hurt Arthur. It showed how much Arthur cared for Merlin, how close a friend he considers him truly.

And nice way to break the tension by letting Arthur remember that Gwen saw him naked. Poor guy, poor Gwen, they better get used to it XD

Oh and I loved how Gwen came up with the plan to use, she's clever like that. Of course Agravaine has to ruin it all ,but still a good plan. Arthur would be lost without Gwen. Of course he'd be lost without Merlin too and his knights, Gaius...you see where this is going, Arthur needs all the help he can get XD

When Merlin woke up I was going delirious with excitement and worry at the same time. I absolutely loved Arthur's struggle between wanting to step away form Merlin in fear of making Merlin murderous by being near and wanting to step closer to his friend who was hurting. It tore my heart in two. I'm kinda thankful Merlin wasn't awake enough to notice being tight down, poor lad. But knowing Merlin he'd probably approve of being tight down considering he was out to kill Arthur *sigh* Merlin doesn't have an easy life.

Well I didn't think I could hate Agravaine anymore than I already do, but the way you described his treatment over the poor horsey, grrr he is evil!

Thank you for this quick update, thank you thank you thank you thank you, and please update as soon as possible again.
Oh I just realised, Merlin is probably going to follow after Arthur isn't he? Maybe as himself which could go all kinds of ways or maybe he goes as dragoon so Arthur won't recognise him. but going as himself would make for better tension maybe, as Merlin worries over Arthur, and Arthur worries over Merlin, but of course using magic would be a tad difficult, so maybe dragoon is better afterall. Ah hell maybe you don't even plan on making Merlin go and you're letting Arthur save the day for once and all this brain frenzy of mine is pointless. XD

Please don't keep me in suspense too long.
