I hate that she got stabbed but maybe there will now be a way to keep her safer? I am glad she finally told Rick the whole story

Very good chapter and now Rick has more questions than answers. At least Kate was able to eat something before she got too scared and threw him out.

I wondered when I read Johanna died in a car accident if that was a change in your story but perhaps not given what she whispered in his ear. She also told him to use a fake I.D. when he went to see Pulgatti. Maybe she should warn him of the danger of looking into her case since I would guess she was framed by Bracken.

Interesting chapter once again. I'm still not sure if I've read this before but it is still holding my interest.

At the moment I am not sure if I have read this one before. In any case very interesting beginning.

Not thinking that Rick will see it all that easy to trust her in the future though. Every time she thinks she needs to do something, she sheds him like loose snake skin.
